Movie was a little disappointing with the character changes and it seemed to be a little different from other movies similar. Outside that movie was great entertainment.

I know this was one of the least received films in the franchise. Hpwever after viewing at home I would have to say it's not all that bad. If anyone remembers the comics back in the day this had all the elements. The heroes and supposed villians fight one another before teaming up against their common foe, the broccoli people from outer space . Adventures in space and the once heroes become outcasts. Hokum, yes, but in line with the comics I read back in the day.

The movie had a ton of potential with great comic book source material and a strong cast but the plot and direction ruined the execution. Still a visually impressive film.

Always get the steelbook for your collection, wish they still came with dvd format as well

Have you ever made a mistake, tried again, and then made brand new mistakes? I give you Exhibit A: Dark Phoenix. A film devoid of an actual plot. And that’s a shame for two reasons. The first is that the train sequence is the best action I’ve seen in the entire X-Men film series, save for Wolverine and Logan. The second reason is that indeed, this is the end of a film series that solidified my love for Superhero film, and it’s an end that cries out for the franchise to be out of its misery.

Better than Apocalypse, I enjoyed the movie and since the Disney purchase of Fox this is a nice series finale. Fox's X-Men was as good as many of the Disney Marvel films.
