This was a movie that everyone seemed to have an opinion on before even watching it and unfortunately learn to abysmal box office numbers. Well I don’t think it’s the strongest installment in the X-Men franchise but it certainly doesn’t deserve all of the hate that it’s gotten. I would say that it is definitely an improvement over X-Men the last stand

This movie got a lot of hate but I liked it. Acting was decent and the special effects were great. Yeah it strays from the comic but hasn't the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe?

This movie left something to be desired, especially with the quality of the McAvoy/Fassbender run of xmen movies, but it was decent and a lot better than X2 at telling the Dark Phoenix story. It still felt a little rushed and ignored key plot points from the books. Jennifer Lawrence obviously didn't want to be in another xmen movie and that also showed. Overall, I would still watch the next movie that comes out (it was good enough to want to continue the series) but we'll see what Disney decides to do with the property now.

I don't want to spoil it but you wonder what happens to Jean going through this period of apparent malevolence. And just what triggered it. The movie answers both, and the ending they came up with I think will please all and surprise at the same time. If you like the X-Men franchise, action movies, suspense or drama, I think you'll like this movie.

Great story behind the Dark Phoenix and how she became such a powerful force, from her childhood up to adult life. You will not be disappointed and it is pretty awesome on 4K UHD.

Why make starting stories after the fact? I would give this five stars, but I don't like stories that jump backwards in time, This should have been one of the first X-men movies.

If you are looking for more insight into the life of Jean Gray, you may be in the wrong place. Like some of the other X-Men films, this seems to pick a random place in time to locate a film that may not always jive with the timelines from other films and their story-lines. All in all it was entertaining- kept me awake and attentive the whole time!

Family friendly but does have some violence. The story of the Dark Phoenix should be longer and with a very good story line but Hollywood has a tendency to shorten stories. This is a good movie but could have been better. Great graphics, good story, this is not the end of the Dark Phoenix at all. Read the comics for the full story, you will be amazed

Everything looks perfect here with no signs of visible noise or artifacts that would hinder your viewing enjoyment of this reference looking presentation. Great collector's item!

I thought the movie brought a good and final conclusion to the franchise. While not as dynamic as the previous movies, the story line was solid and provided much needed closure.

Noticeable difference when comparing blu-ray to 4k UHD. Great add to the collection. Any new movies with tons of CGI always have a better return quality when it comes to 4k.

This X-Men movie could had a better story line for it, but it was better than the reviews. The special effects and sound for this in 4K format are excellent to see and hear.

The action sequence on the train in the third act was incredible. A lot darker than previous X-Men files. Critics were too harsh. Will miss this generation of the X-Men.

Overall not bad. The Dark Phoenix Saga is very hard to adapt in one movie. But it is still better the X-Men: Last Stand. A shame this is the final X-Men movie from Fox.

I have been waiting to watch this one since the reviews weren't great. It is an enjoyable film, especially if you like superhero movies although it wasn't my favorite.

I know this got trashed & didn’t make a lot of money at the box office, but I didn’t think it was bad. It definitely not the best Marvel or XMen movie, but it was decent.

The video & audio quality were great but the story was a little lacking compared to the original X-MEN movies. Plus no Wolverine. He was the best character in the group.

Grew up watching and reading X-Men own all the X-Men movies and side stories characters so this was another must own for me and great for the price for Black Friday.

I know a lot of people said that this movie was awful but I truly don't know what the heck they heck were looking at. This movie is so good. In the other movies Phoenix really got on my nerves but not this Phoenix. This Venus was so sweet and very loving which made her very strong! By this movie people because it is truly good!

The movie is good if you just enjoy it for what it is and not what you want it to be. Not everyone will always be happy with movie representations of comic book movies.
