This movie may not follow the comicbook version of the Phoenix but this is a good alternative. I like the role of the Beast and Raven and the infusion of new blood in some of the main characters. Jean Grey is a force to be reckoned with...even before the cosmic event. Can't wait to see where we go from here. I will miss Raven!

I know comic book purists did not like this film but I thought it was very entertaining and I always wanted to see what the X-Men could do fighting against aliens.

I'm not sure why this move did so bad. The story is OK. Not as good as the original Marvel Phoenix Saga story but it is what it is. The cast was great. Action is good. Would I love to see this follow the "comic book exactly one day"? Yes of course. Perhaps one day Marvel will re-due this. In the meantime, its worth seeing.

I expected a little more from the movie but i'll focus on the product for this review. This has got to be one of the best looking steelbooks i have purchased. The artwork looks fantactic. It is indeed a little more expensive that the regular 4k version but is in my opinion well worth it. Best Buy gets a thumbs up for this one!

To the credit of the director and writers the story is more based on the real "human" emotions of all the characters, making it more compelling and less of a mere "popcorn" movie. This is a more adult film with performances from some very fine actors. Don't pay attention to the unjustifiable bad reviews this movie has gotten.

As an individual movie it was very good. But I would not include it as a sequel to the other X-Men movies. The X-Men movies does not follow any logical sequence.

Often I will add sequels to my movie collection with no great expectations. Just a need to make the collection complete. I was totally off guard when I watched Dark Phoenix....this sequel does more than keep the pace. In fact for the new collector if you started here, you would not need the others. Best of The Franchise.

While certainly not the best X-Men movie in the series, I had to add it to my collection as I have the others. It is worth the pickup for a fan of the series.

i enjoyed the movie even though many people didnt like it the only thing wrong with it if you watch all the xmen movies it doesnt make sence with the story line

I didn’t see anything wrong with this movie, like hardcore fans did. I thought it went well with the origin X-men movie we’ve gotten over the past 5+ years.

This was a very interesting storyline. Lots of effects and enjoyed finally seeing the backstory to these characters. Looking forward to future X-Men projects.

This form of packaging is far better for storage then the paper type. They are easier to read when your're trying to locate a specific movie in your collection. As for the movie itself it's not the best X-Men movie made but like all the other characters it explains how they came to be. I'll give it a 6 out of 10 rating.

This isn't bad. I am not sure if it is good enough to keep the franchise going. It lacked the personal development between characters than the earlier ones.

The newer cast for xman continues to make enjoyable movies. This one was lacking dome of the larger fight scenes but make up for it with a great storyline.

The steel case is really nice. The movie however is a bit of a letdown. It’s worth watching to see some good acting and the ending of the Fox x-Men saga

If you’ve heard that this particular movie is lackluster, those criticisms aren’t without merit.... the CGI (mutant powers) aren’t so jaw dropping this time around. Not the best finale for this cycle of X-men films, but it’s certainly not “among the worst films ever” like some would espouse. If you’re a long time X-men fan, definitely worthy of completing your collection, otherwise- it’s your call. Very low stakes it felt like in this movie, and no overly tense moments.

Outstanding artwork for a good movie that was unfairly reviewed. If the MCU name had been slapped on it, it would have automatically gotten great reviews. Complaining that it’s too dark is silly considering it’s called DARK PHOENIX, not Rainbow Phoenix. The acting is top notch and it is a fitting end to the saga.
