Although I'm not a comic book fan, this is a pretty good movie since I derived it from the animated tv series--which also was pretty good. Aside from all the action, there were some very disturbing scenes in this movie that bothered me. But I'm sure they had to make it fit the era of what was happening. Another thing that I wasn't sure of was Bishop being a bit out of the loop. From the animated series he(Bishop)played a more important part in which he was the notifier and expert on time traveling. So how come kitty got that part instead? At least the part about Wolverine going back was right on track. For said reason, a 4-star rating is what I give it.

This movie is by far my favorite in the series. I love how it blends the old characters with the new. The action is great and Quicksilver is such a great addition to the movie primarily because of the humor. The story is a well-known one if you're a comic book fan and it doesn't get too convoluted especially since it involves time travel. The blu-ray set is nice and we enjoyed the 3D version. I love that it comes with a UV copy (which is pretty standard nowadays).

I've enjoyed all of the X-Men movies, from the original through First Class and now to Days of Future Past. I thought the story line was quite interesting and Wolverine's trip into the past is a blast, from having to get along with young Xavier and Magneto to the clothing and styles. Jennifer Lawrence does the amazing work we expect of her these days and the entire cast does a great job. Visually impressive, the Sentinels are as scary as you'd imagine from the comics.

One of the best reboot stories. It works well if you're a superhero fan or just a fan of a great story. It's compelling with the character development and fun to see the traveling back in time to unite the current and past cast members. Enjoyed it from start to finish.

what a great movie. typically when you have such a large cast the story line suffers because they want to get everyone in, but the writers did an amazing job integrating everyone perfectly. bot the old and new together worked in harmony, you almost believed that they really represented the young and old characters in harmony. if you didn't see the movie in 3d, you did miss out. 3d worked so well with this movie and the home version continued to deliver! go get it now!

Out of all the comic book adaptations X-Men series is my favourite. I like all of the movies in the series including 2 wolverine movies. I watched this in 3D in theater when it released and enjoyed it very much and it was one of the rare release day purchases I made. This package contains 3D & 2D versions of the movie and contains some of the coolest packaging I have seen. Some nice cards, great packaging. Buy this package if you like 3D, you won't be disappointed.

I had been following this X-Mam films since the first edition came out. Now this film is one of those that after 15min you watch it this is going to be enough to watch the film to the end. I will say 85% of the film is full of action and there for I like it. I would recommend this to those that had been following the whole series since to understand this one you need to have some idea of what has happened in previous parts or films. My over all rate is 4.8 out of 5.

If you're looking for a fun movie night, look no further that this. Days of Future Past is easily the best of the X-Men film franchise to date, due largely in part to the return of director Bryan Singer (X-Men, X-2: X-Men United) as he is a true fan of the comic universe and it's characters and it shows. On Blu-ray this film looks and sounds incredible if you're setup for it and as a movie collector I really appreciate Best Buy offering up this exclusive packaging.

Sometimes when a "franchise" movie moves past the third installment, one of two things usually happen. Main characters, whom were killed off during the first films, have a chance to be broadened or story lines get to be expanded upon, thereby widening the emotional connection the viewer has with that character or characters. But most times the overall writing suffers badly, usually giving up personal connections for extended violence and destruction. This movie did a very good job in handling all of those points and the actors chosen to play "younger" versions of established characters did an amazing job with the task at hand.

Of course the movie was awesome. Otherwise why are you buying it?? The service and the availability were excellent. Had no trouble getting my long-awaited movie!! So just in case you're wondering if you should buy this, all I have to say is YES!!! This movie blends the original X-Men cast with their younger counterparts. It doesn't necessarily fill in all the storyline holes, but the movie overall ties up a LOT of loose ends. A must-buy for any Marvel fanatic!!

This was definitely one of the best X-Men films to date. The story was adapted from one of the most popular X-Men stories of comic-book past and the special effects helped sell the movie to this reviewer. I will admit that at times one has to wonder why certain characters were in the movie, but at the end it did make sense. Some may think the movie was overcrowded with popular Mutants for the sake of having those popular mutants in the movie, but other probably were just happy to see their favorite mutant get a little screen time. In all if you are a fan of the X-Men films then you should definitely add this one to your collection!

We missed the movie when it came out in theaters. Seeing "Days of Future Past" as a 4K release for the first time on our newer Sony 4K HDR TV, plus 4K Blue Ray player was a thrilling television and movie experience. Absolutely crisp picture, beautiful colors (more natural), and excellent motion control gave the whole experience a "theater at home" rating for us. All that was missing was the popcorn (we're on a diet!)

This movie represents everything that X-men fans look for in the series. Mind-bending collision of time and characters in an epic universe that spans the heydays of 60's and '70's comics to the apocalyptic visions of a future gone wrong. Action packed to the brim, it keeps you at the edge of your seat through the whole movie. The special effects alone are worth getting this worthy addition to any X-men and superhero collection. A definite must see.

Hands down the best X-men movie yet except for a little misstep towards the end but there is no denying that the story, characters and special effects are beyond anything I've seen this summer. The 3D disc was superb, I was very impressed with the depth of the image on screen, not much gimmicky pop up which is a good thing. The audio was intense and this movie begs to be played in DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 on a home surround system. My advice, get this movie!

It was a good film, but just not necessary to be made, it adds alternate scenes to the original film, and doesn’t really add any suspense or what if I like that it came with Digital.

After seeing couple of trailers, I have to say I was expecting more. I loved First Class and still think it's better of the two. This one suffers a bit of identity crisis, juggling funny moments with serious ones and you are left wondering what was the final aim? Should we laugh, cry or be super serious? A little bit of all? Still final and complete movie is as entertaining as they get and has a bit slower pace than I am used to in Marvel movies, which is nice. It's still galaxies away from what DC is putting in theaters, but maybe switch towards more mature audience with some of their series is exactly what Marvel needs...

The 7th installment in the X-Men franchise really has given it new life. Its almost the first movie in a second Phase of X-Men universe movies just like the Avengers universe AKA Marvel Cinematic Universe with the exception that they actually label these "Phases". The plot covers up any continuity errors in previous films. 4/4 stars. This and Deadpool are the perfect start to give X-Men a boost of success to contend with The Avengers.

I bought the original release and when I saw that they had a new release with Rogue in it, I was skeptical. I was wrong, it was completely worth it. The Rogue scenes add a little more to the movie, but for me, it made it all worth it when they addressed Qucksilver/Scarlet Witch's twin dilemma. You'll have to be a fan-boy to appreciate the subtle addition.

Of course I was wanting to buy this movie so I could watch it whenever I wanted to at home. When I saw the "Rogue Cut" edition I had to get it as I had heard that there were scenes that were deleted from the version released in theaters. Even thought it was only a few scenes I had to see them as I am a fan of the franchise. I do not regret this purchase one bit. I was going to get it anyway, so why not get the Special Edition rights? Haha.

This version has an alternate plot development and scenes left out that make Rogue's cut even better. The special features were also pretty cool and I definitely enjoyed watching the whole dvd, not just Rogue's cut version but it was cool to also watch the original screen version and compare scenes. The dvd comes with two discs. It's easy function in main menu to switch from either version without going through lots of settings.
