"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is definitely an action-packed pre-quel account of the origination of the organization. The fact that it was done in 4K Ultra High Definition Blu-ray, combined with thunderous surround sound serve up a feast for the senses!

While the comics like to send Bishop back in time, the new audience likes to see Wolverine, so they sent him back. It was still very well done, especially the relationship between Wolverine and Storm. I would like it should they stick to the cartoons. Also, gotta love the introduction of the sentinels to the series finally. Spoiler alert********************Does this movie ruin and reset all previous X-Men movies?

This version reinserts all of the shots related to the Rogue sub-plot that were edited out of the project. The original need to eliminate Rogue's involvement from the film must have been time-oriented, as the character's involvement doesn't seem to drag on the film experience in any way. It only adds to it, particularly for those who are fond of the little southern scrapper. Highly recommended.

This is a fun movie and very entertaining. It has some continuity issues, but they can be overlooked because of the good elements. The Good: - Quicksilver - Good story - Great mixture of the two franchises The Bad: - Once again, it tends to be a "Wolverine" movie with some other characters involved rather than a true "X-Men" movie. - The continuity issues I mentioned above - Poor Colossus, one of my favorite X-Men, just gets no respect in this film!

If you're an X-MEN fan then this is a must. Did you ever wish you could go back in time and advise yourself to change something you know now you would have done different then, well that is exactly what this X-MEN Days of Future Past is about, being able to go back 10 years and convince yourself that the decision you make now will have a big impact on your future. Get out the Popcorn and enjoy this movie especially in 3D Blu-ray DVD.

I liked the movie because it was just exciting and there were great effects. It's better than I expected. The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in an epic battle that must change the past - to save our future.

I was lucky to be able to snag one of these the week they came out...so not only did I end up with all the bonus swag but I got it for a really great price. This is a must see movie...I bought it because I know I am going to watch it multiple times. There are so many little nods to the comic series/first movie trilogy that it is always fun to re-watch and see how many more I can find. Definitely a great buy.

I'm a huge fan of the X-Men series, but not every one has been great (I'm looking at you X3 and Origins). The new Trilogy started by First Class kicked off a great sort of reset and this film gives the opportunity to blend the old cast with the new and set the franchise on a new and better path moving forward. The film looks great on bluray and is a great addition to any comic book movies fan's collection!

For having a movie I was so looking forward to, I really wanted to enjoy DoFP more. The soundtrack was great, the action was good and the plot was almost follow-able for an X-Men movie. It just... didn't have any heart. It lacked that spark that its First Class cousin had that made me love it so much. This was just sort of a "Here is it" movie. Perhaps if they hadn't switched between the future and post so much it would have been another matter. Also, it kinda wrecks the timeline. Recommended with reservations. Watch First Class or The Wolverine instead.

The same as the theatrical version except it has Rogue playing the part Shadowcat did in the theatrical release. This version has both cuts of the film on one disc and includes more bonus features (exclusive bonus content to this release) and a sweet slipcover that opens up. Overall, this is the definitive version to own. I had to have this even after already owning the theatrical blu ray.

Just when I thought they could not top X-Men The Last Stand they come out with another. The script was great! Seeing the past, present and future together in the movie was an excellent idea. The addition of Mutants was excellent. The Best Buy exclusive with the Mutant Files is a treat! Anxiously awaiting for the next X-Men movie to be released! Two thumbs up!!!!!!!! Definitely purchase the BBY exclusive!

This X-men film is one of the best ones made in the entire film franchise thus far. It was well acted and well directed. The action sequences were intense and it brought back the dramatic aspect that the first two films had. A must see. The Blu Ray disc is well worth the money because everything looks and sounds fantastic. If you have enjoyed the other X-men films you are going to really enjoy this movie.

Days of Future Past is my 3rd favorite X film behind the 1st film and First Class respectively. The Rouge cut adds little but is a must for die hard fans. Its hard to tell which I prefer. The BluRay comes with a nice "Making-of" featurette along with commentary on BOTH cuts of the film, the Rouge cut and Theatrical cut. Overall, I chose to add this BluRay to my collection.

For every fan of the X-Men universe or even those who do not know about the franchise this movie is a must in your collection. Though it involves time travel it doesn't get confusing. You understand the flow of the film. One thing to say just as it had been said at the theaters. Forward when the credits start for the little glimpse of what's to come. That's if you hadn't already seen it in the theaters.

Enjoyed this movie a lot. If you have been following this series you will want see this one as well. Very creative storyline, continues to show a background history of characters and introduces new ones. The extras are worth a watch as well. Makes the viewer anxious for more, I believe there is another movie on the way. I haven't read comics before, but tempted in order to hear the more of the story.

On release day I was faced with a decision: Buy the target metalpack version and also buy the 3d release down the line, or just buy the best buy exclusive 3d combo. Glad I went with the 3D combo at best buy, very stylish presentation, nice extra physical goodies and didn't need to buy the film twice. The whole presentation is very well put together and for the release week price, the value was clear.

x-men days of future past , is a movie you can't just watch once. The action is what I wanted to see and raven she is wonderful , as she changes into different people . And going back in time to change the future is the best part . When they were attacked through out the movie and when he returned from the water alive and you knew she was there , and when he woke up he had hope again of the future ...

X-Men Days of Future Past was already a great movie.This new Rogue cut adds the character back in in a subplot during the future setting.It's really cool to see these scenes which include a side mission for Professor X and Magneto.The new scenes does make the pace of the film a little off which is why it was cut.But it's still worth watching.Plus some great new special features are included.

Good movie to bring the X-men franchise back up and running - can't wait to see the next in the series: Apocalypse! This is what the first X-men movie should have been, sometimes I wonder why they have to tell stories from the very beginning when it comes to comics, especially when it comes to X-men - there is so much material to work with. Anyhow - they seem to be back on track with this series.

The latest X-Men movie combines characters from the current movie series and the prequel movies to wrap up all existing stories. Great effects with an interesting story spanning different time periods. If you've like any of the other X-Men movies you'll like this one. A lot of favorite characters come back and some new favorites are introduced. Serious drama, with action and some comedy as well.
