Full of wonderful action , story and fine effects, not the lousy transformer style of just fast and ridiculous movement. Definitely the best X-Men movie in the series made. From one of their finest comic book stories. Time travel , can we change our futures or pasts all make for fun sci-fi fun action enjoyment.

If you're a fan of X-Men this movie is a must. I never got to see the movie in theaters so I had to pick it up on blu-ray ASAP. The movie ties up the first class characters with the modern characters and throws in other classic X-Men characters from the comics. This ultimate edition comes with two discs, one regular blu-ray and one 3D blu-ray. It was on sale when I bought it so it was a steal.

This may be a little bias of a review, but I thought this movie was amazing! I have been a fan of the X-men movies since the first one came out in 2000. I was VERY glad to see that Brian Singer was back at the helm, since he captured the feeling of the X-men so well in the first and second. There is quite a bit of action and the story is confusing but a lot of fun!

This might be my favorite xmen movie. They did an amazing job with the story, the graphics, etc. This was my first 3D bluray, I usually 'rent' 3D movies through our digital cable (had to wait for the Xbox one to have 3d playback update). There is no comparison. I knew the video quality would be better, but not this much better! We will be buying our 3D movies instead of renting from now on!

This movie does the unthinkable, it combines two large casts into one movie and it does it to perfection. Bryan singer again paces and directs the movie well. He does a good job of showing the struggles of magneto, mystic, and professor x that are the backbone of the story. A bigger cast than the Avengers and a better villian than the Avengers. One of the best super hero movies out there.

I have to say any time you do a time travel type movie you start to think conspiracy theory about how can all the other movies work if the domino effect changed the past to the now new future but again this is xmen which any true fan will look past and enjoy old and new faces with a nostalgic feeling. ..I love and will always love these characters and story no matter how complicated it gets

I saw the first Xmen movie, and then nothing until I saw this. The movie starts with a bunch of Xmen, I guess you're supposed to know who everybody is, doing a groundhog day loop thing where they keep getting destroyed by these giant robot mutant killers the Sentinels. Somebody comes up with a plan to send Wolverine back in time, where he has to convince younger versions of Professor X and the Xmen and Magneto who he is and all the trust me I'm from the future stuff, and Jennifer Lawrence's character has a different agenda.

Great sequel to First Class and adds more by including team members from the original series of films! Interesting scenes with several jaw dropping ones like how well done the jailbreak sequence with Quicksilver. Keep in mind, there is post end credits teaser that gives us a glimpse of the chaos to come in the series' next installment... X-Men - Apocalypse

This is a great story about the Xmen fighting for their (future) lives. It's amazing how each Xmen movie is distinct from all of the others; this latest one is no exception. What makes this one even better is that it's in 3D. The 3D is the full effect and done very well, although many parts of the movie are shot in very dark places. Even if you don't like 3D, you'll still like the story.

What you've come to expect for an X-Men movie: excitement, action, battles with evil baddies, etc. Nicely blends actors from the original cast with the next generation of actors, with some cool time travel aspects and great effects. Great actors [old and new] and continuing character development. A fine Blu-ray action movie of the Marvel type. There's even a cameo with Jean returning(?)

This movie seriously exceeded my expectations, after watching Captain America: The Winter Soldier I was sure no other Marvel movie could hold a candle to it. Boy was I mistaken, this movie is right up there with the best of them, great action, story was a little iffy but certainly had substance to keep you glued to the screen. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is a comic book fan.

I was familiar with the comic book storyline that inspired this movie, so there was an obvious familiarity with the basic plot (though there are many major deviations from one media to the other). However, this new "Director's Cut" actually flows much better. The Rogue part is really only at the very end, but it is the other subtle additions that make this a much better movie.

This installment takes the cast back in time to fix some problems created earlier. A visibly aging Patrick Stewart is seen as his much younger persona, as well as some of the other characters. Wolverine gets the lion's share of the screen time, and he is selected to go back into the past and effect the necessary corrections. It's one of the better X Men movies, and looks and sounds great. The time travel element also allows movies to recast old characters in a new light, a la Star Trek. Well worth a couple of hours of your time.

I loved this movie, and so did my wife! She was in a state of denial about the third X-Men movie, but this finally got her to admit that it existed. The only question that I still have is, "How did Professor X get his body back?" Other than that, I would highly recommend this to any X-Men fan. The Blu-ray has some good special features, and it's always nice to have a digital copy.

I haven't watched all of the X-men movies and I don't know all of the characters but of the ones that I have seen, I like this one the best. You get a little bit of everything-history, future happenings and of course an interesting array of mutants. I have a few of the other movies but this one has actually made me want to buy the rest of the X-men movies and watch them in order.

Just when I start to think the series is getting stale, days of futures past is released and blows my mind. Not being an avid comic reader I don't know to what extent this follows any arc in the series. Having said that I found the story to be really exciting. It was nice to see them finally tie all the movies together in the end and I'm excited to see where they go in the future

I grew up on this story line in the comics and seeing it come to life was almost surreal. The action is amazing. The character development dives you deeper into some of your favorite X-Men characters and why they do what they do. The fight scenes with the Sentinels showcase many of the mutants powers like you've never seen them before. Easily one of my favorite movie in this genre!

This movie does a great job of tying the old and new X-Men cast together in ways that the writers had yet to be able to do. I think it was the premise of more action that drew me into seeing this movie in the theater. It keeps right up to pace with The Wolverine which came out a year prior. The most recent movies are worlds better than X Men origins! You will not be dissapointed!

It''s movies like this that makes me wish at times that I should have waited a year to buy my 60" Sony and went bigger this Holiday with smaller money and alittle more tech. The 3D was pretty decent and sound encompassing. Thanks BestBuy for my outta site viewing pleasure PS...Could use more 3D and dropping the prices with sales would be greatly appreciated by many....just thinkin.
