Originally when this movie came out I was like meh until I saw it. Seeing it for sale it reminded me that is has one of my favorite top 10 scenes of all time! SPOILER ALERT ... when Quicksilver helps get Magneto out of his prison ... that scene done to Jim Croce's music is one of my favorite scenes ... that alone makes this Excellent for me. I also like the Rogue angle ...they should have kept that, but oh well.

In my opinion, this movie has to be the best of the best in the series to date. I watched it on the big screen in three dimensional to say the least. Personally, I'm not a fan of three dimensional, but I had to cop the Blu-ray video. I've got to say, " the casting, storyline, visual effects and overall entertainment was excellent." This movie is great for any fanboy(girl), or the casual moviegoer who enjoy human versus mutant drama.

I previously owned the original theatrical version, but as soon as I found out there would be a extended cut of the film, i had to grab it, being a fan in the first place. Whether you have the film already or not, this is the version you want, no 3D version but longer cut of the movie, new additonal special features on second disk, and the inclusion of the theatrical version which makes this the definitive blu-ray to own.

Incredible movie, although a bit different from the comics, yet it worked! Would of loved to have seen a bit more of Rogue, at least in the future and present. Some of the deleted scenes should have been part of the movie, yet thanks for at least including them, even if not in the movie. One of the best Super-hero movies to come to the big screen & among the very best story in the publication of Marvel. Way better than the Avengers!

The movie was a blast, start to finish!! It's been a long time since I've truly enjoyed a movie from the X-Men franchise and even though I liked The Wolverine, Days of Futures Past reminded me of why I love the franchise in the first place. If you are a fan of action and suspense or a comic book movie buff who enjoys live film adaptations then, this movie was made for you, go buy this, especially in 3-D. You won't be disappointed.

This is a great film in a neat collectors box worth, in my opinion, the extra couple of dollars. I think the film is a fantastic continuation by Bryan Singer of his original film creation (way back in 2000) merged with the modern marvels that are the younger versions of those beloved characters. Truth be told though, X-Men: First Class is a better movie, however, I will reserve full judgment on the newest trilogy's direction as a whole until X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters. All in all, the product itself is a nice little gift for movie/film buffs to have - and always great fun to watch.

As a kid, I always hated the Sentinels, they were a joke. Wolverine would cut them to scrap metal, Magneto would just wave his hand. But these Sentinels are frightening, adaptive machines that mimic whatever gets thrown at them. The cast, the story, and the direction are excellent... and despite my annoyance with time-travel storylines, the method they opt for is better than usual. Merging the two casts was a very good idea.

For X-Men lovers this is a dream come true. Finally, a way to bring the "old" crew and the "new" crew together in one movie that has a very workable plot and story line. While it does have a few inconsistencies, its still does a pretty good job of bring all of the previous X-Men and Wolverine movies together. Just wish there was some explanation about the end of credit scene in The Wolverine and how it ties into this movie.

The Quick Silver scene from this movie is probably the best 3D scene out there as of this writing. If you own a 3D system, it behooves you to get this movie in 3D. That one scene alone is worth the price of admission. I purchased this set elsewhere because it was the cheapest version of the 3D I could find, but the packaging is not worth the extra money If you have to pay more for it. But if you have 3D GET THIS MOVIE!!!

Days of Future Past is a mind bending, thought provoking roller coaster ride. It brings the impossible to the screen and the improbable into the forefront of plausibility. Peter Dinklage is truly a great actor and not just a "pretty face" (ha!). The Blu Ray Package gives the usual behind the scenes, deleted scenes stuff that we've come to expect. Hopefully, there will be more of these films before the actors get too old.

I enjoyed this movie. I initially watched it in theaters with high expectations since First Class was a great origin story. The cast was incredible, Fassbender and McAvoy delivered along with Hugh Jackman. Audio was incredible on a 7.1 system and the film resolution was sharp and crisp delivering vivid imagery switching between the colorful 70s and dark future. Recommended to fans of the X-Men and even to casual viewers.

As with most series films, this one only uses the title of the original story. It's not even an adaptation of the original X-Men comics arc (but neither are most of the Marvel movies, a tradition borrowed from the Bond franchise). They couldn't even make the Sentinels look like the ones in the comics. That would have won over so many fans. But, if you're not a fan of X-Men comics, you'll still be entertained by this film, which is more Wolverine sequel (with other X-Men featured) than another full-blown X-Men movie. At least it's much better than Wolverine: Origins.

Honestly I was upset at first when this version came out, because it came out after the theatrical release version. Considering this comes with both the extended cut (which should've been shown in theaters) and the theatrical cut.....this needs to be the one to be purchased now and forever and if they do remake a box set entirely.....definitely keep this one in case this version isn't with the box set

I've watched all the original trilogy Xmen movies, the wolverines spin off, 1st Class... They have all been great movies... But this has to be the best one yet... You are always on the edge of your seat waiting to see what comes next... The blu ray features, I liked the cerebro app for a second screen... The Exodus Sneak Peek was great.

This installment is not as well put together as it could have been. Some of the other movies were better in a sense. This one could be a little confusing at times, like most time travel movies are unless you are paying attention to the details of the storyline. More characters introduced and a closer look at the sentinels make this one closer to the X-Men comics that I remember. I know that Hollywood is Hollywood and artistic license is usually used instead of following written story lines in comic books or novels, etc., but this installment is entertaining at the least.

When X-Men First Class was announced, it felt like a reboot. (The Wolverine cameo, rather than truly integrating the universes, seemed like an easy laugh.) But with this newest installment, it's clear that the two X-worlds are more closely linked than we think. Fox's franchise remains darker than the MCU. A quality Blu-Ray and a very entertaining movie with a stellar cast. Quicksilver alone makes it worth watching.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is a really great movie. If you are a fan of the X-men verse, then you will really love this movie. Even if you are going into the movie as a first timer, it is a must watch. You may get confused by all the different mutants, but soon it will all be clear, who is who. The extras are really good too getting to see deleted scenes and how they made the film. A must buy for all comic book fans.

I really liked this movie as well as the rest in the series. It was an interesting story line but I didn't think some of the young characters didn't fit so well, like the young Charles Xavier. He was not what I pictured, but it didn't take away from the movie. I always find it humorous when a character from the future helps a character in the past come up with something they already had credit for doing in the future. Did they really has that skill or invent the thing if someone from the future showed them or helped them. Anyway, it is a good movie with some great action.

At first I assumed this would be the "superfluous cut" but it's actually adds a lot more depth to an already dense movie. And elevates its position as arguably the greatest X-Men movie. Only problem is it doesn't carry over all the special features from the original cut blu ray so if you're a purist you kind of need to hand on to the old copy if you want to retain all special features.

    X-Men: Days of Future Past

This installment of X-Men was good enough for me to go out and buy a copy on Blu-Ray Disc, however it was just to complete my library, as I have all the others as well! Days of Future Past is Good, but delves a bit too deep into the storyline for my liking. I found there were many more gratuitous action scenes in the previous X-Men works, which I thoroughly enjoyed! This one, again, is very story based and although there are a few action scenes, it is more of a movie that provides insight into various characters in X-Men. Still a good movie if you're a fan of the franchise!
