This installment of X-men did not disappoint. The acting was excellent as expected and the fast paced action was fun to see. As usual there are moments of humor that help to balance the violence/action scenes. You will not be disappointed if you purchase the movie.

The X-Men franchise is my favorite thing and I will enjoy it until Disney comes along and ruins it. This is like a whole new movie. I was kinda sad the "Rogue Cut" didn't hit theatres because it added a whole new slab of meat to an already impressive display. Great movie and man, only 5 bucks?! CMON AND BUY IT ALREADY!

    Singer Returns

There aren't many franchises that can say they are as strong as ever with their 5th flick in the series, however X-Men can. I think many people had doubts when they heard about Bryan Singer returning or the large cast and that they'd be too many balls in the air to juggle or that the action wouldn't be up to par, and to be fair First Class had the same doubts and proved them wrong, as does this entry in the X-Men cinematic universe. Sets the stage for the future nicely and cleans up a lot of continuity issues.

    For PG-13, not bad

By default, I'm usually not a fan of PG-13 rated movies, because they are generally soft and lack the action of movies I prefer viewing. However there are rules and exceptions, with that being said; the Director and Producers pulled off a remarkable full feature continuation of the X-Men series in the making of Days Of Future Past. Excellent story line, great acting which defined the cast of characters portrayed in the movie and clearly illustrated how it all begun. A must have Blu-Ray for the collection!

Ok So I Only Wish That They Actually Added A Couple Of These Scenes In The Theatrical Version. This Movie Made A Little More Sense. Not Sure Why Many Of The Plots Were Taken Out. I Know It Was Due To The Length Of The Film, But Come On, The Edition Would Have Made Sense. Overall Still A Classic Seeing All Your Classic Characters Come Together Once Again.

I love this new batch of X-Men films and this one sets the stage for the next generation of mutants, wiping away any mistakes from the past (X-Men 3). This set includes the theatrical cut as well as the Rogue cut, which includes a bit more of Anna Paquin's character, who was under-served in the original version that was released into theaters due to time.

X-men: Days Of Future Past [3d/2d] amazing movie. Highly recommend watching in high definition - 3d/2d. I watched in 3d for the first time and it was like I never seen the movie before as it put the movie in a realistic depth perception. Amazing , gotta watch this movie. X-men: Days Of Future Past [Digital Copy] [3d/2d] [blu-ray] (blu-ray 3d)

    A Return to Form

After the big missteps in Xmen 3 and the few stumbles of the prequel First Class, Days of Future Past has the best of both worlds by mingling together then old and the new casts into a single film as Logan's mind is sent back in time to his younger self's body in order to prevent a future cataclysm. The Rogue Cut release is the definitive version of the film as it has both the theatrical cut and the new cut which adds an extra subplot to the film.

I picked this up as it was the best looking of any store exclusive for this title. I was also blind buying the movie, meant the see in theater, but life got in the way. The movie is just killer, maybe the best X-Men flick yet and I've loved em all, even part 3. Disc did fail to load in my Sony BX37, but I went online and got a firmware update and it works fine now.

This is an absolutely astounding release for an absolutely astounding film. X-Men: Days of Future Past is one of this year's finest films and by far the best film in the X-Men franchise to date, and this Best Buy exclusive release is simply phenomenal. Great exclusive features, terrific packaging, and an overall amazing presentation. Pick it up as soon as you can.

This movie is great to own for the X-Men series, but don't buy it unless you can get it for a low price like I did ($7.99) because you are not missing nothing, it is basically just the same as the other version, the only thing this has that the other does not is a few minutes of Rogue at the end. She should have been left in it because it is better with her in it. Bottom line is "don't make the director mad" because he will cut you out of the movie.

When I went to see this movie in the theaters I did not have high hopes, but as the credits started rolling at the end, I wanted more and knew this was one I was adding to my library. Marvel continues to push out great story lines mixed with great special effects. Any Marvel fan would be silly not to pick this up and get all of the extras with it at a low price.

Great movie if you are into the Marvel mythos. If you have not purchased the original version this one is the version to buy, but if you already own the theatrical cut this might not be worth the additional purchase (unless it is on a really good sale). The story works better in this director's cut but the overall effect is not dramatically different.

    Fantastic X-Men Continuation

Original cast was reunited for this effort with the original director again providing the proper leadership. Without giving anything away "time travel" is the central theme of the story, which typically is a good plot device for this type of movie, especially when well done as here. The Blu-ray has excellent picture and sound quality. You won't be disappointed.

Bryan Singer has done it again. By resurrecting Charles Xavier and writing and directing this film, Singer has repaired the "damage" done to the franchise with X-MEN III. And the Rogue Cut simply takes the film to a new level as it adds footage cut from the theatrical version. If you're a fan of this franchise, pick this one up ASAP!

I am a big X-Men fan and have enjoyed all the movies, yes even part 3, but when I heard that Bryan Singer was returning to direct the follow up to the amazing X-Men: First Class I was worried that he wouldn't be able to bring the same feeling that director Matthew Vaughn brought to that film. But, I will admit I was wrong. This movie is so good and fun. It brought the worlds from directors versions of these characters together perfectly and it is worth watching for the Quicksilver scene alone.

This X-Men doesn't have as much action as previous releases and the story not quite as good as First Class, with that being said it was an overall good watch as long as you don't get hung up on unexplained things that don't follow suit with previous releases, like Professor X being in his body (that was destroyed in "Last Stand"), or Magneto having his powers back (also, "Last Stand") and most noticeable...Wolverine having his antomanium claws back (from the last installment of "The Wolverine").

in my opinion, extended cuts, director's cuts, and unrated extended cuts are always better than the theatrical release cut, there's material that more often than not helps things make alot more sense. this is prevalent with xmen days of future past, in big, distinct ways. that said, this movie is well worth having.

This film manages to merge both X-Men movie casts, while also fixing the mistakes of X-Men 2 and 3 so that both continuities are joined and can move forward in a better direction. It's also full of some great action and plenty of funny moments. Definitely one of the better X-Men movies--probably right below the second one, which is arguably still the best one.

Ok, The Xmen series have definitely had their ups and downs, but DOFP is a great example of what Xmen could be, a twist of turn of the current timeline, this movie shifts what we know about the Xmen Universe rewriting their existence as the film goes on. *This Steelbook comes with the theater version not the extended Rogue Cut.
