This movie is great! Sad that it is different from the comic, but I'm a purist/nostalgist. Great story and special effects. I do wish thought that mine came with a slip cover though. Also, there is a Rogue Edition coming out soon that will not have the 3D so this is the way to get it.

Obviously they had to tweak a little from the original comic to fit the FOX X-Men universe... but they did a good job of that. The movie was very well done and did a good job of mixing the older and younger versions of heroes and villains in this time-travelling future-unravelling story. You have to get this if you love the X-Men and the other movies so far.

This is a great and exciting x-men movie that redeems other previous poor outings. Wolverine must go back in time to prevent things from happening, otherwise the sentinels will destroy all good guy mutants. The rouge cut has a bunch of scenes that were cut out that focus on Rogue, so this version is much better than the regular one.

This is good, fun superhero movie. Enjoyed what it had to offer and I am glad that they essentially wiped out the events of X-Men 3: Last Stand. Of course with any movie involving time travel there is bound the be plot holes but not bad enough to distract from how much fun this movie was. Like most major releases the blu-ray looks and sounds great.

The story flows at a very slick pace and unfolds smoothly. It's not as good as it could have been if they stuck with the real storyline but based on the movie continuity it does a fine job and even goes to fix previous entries mistakes. The 3D is serviceable. The packaging is a definate win, one the best exclusives out there for a bluray movie.

The theatrical cut of DOFP is a masterpiece. It is one of the greatest Superhero films of all time, and the best X-Men movie of all time. The Rogue Cut of the film was alright though. I wasn't a huge fan of the Rogue scenes that they added, but I did like the small scenes that they added to the past, excluding that scene with Beast and Mystique. All in all, it does indeed add to the films story and I'd check it out if you like the theatrical cut.

I saw this movie during its midnight launch in theaters and I had to own the Blu-Ray. I added it to my X-Men Blu-Ray collection so it's complete for now. The Blu-Ray came with an ultraviolet code, so you can stream the digital copy. I use this feature with the Flixster app to stream movies on my TV through the Google Chromecast.

I must say, going into this new film I heard nothing but great things. Even though the main character that travels through time is Wolverine and not Kitty Pryde, like the comic book story, it all comes together rather splendidly. The effects are right on point and the movie has an incredible feeling of closure and new beginnings.

From purely a technical perspective, I thoroughly enjoyed the 3D picture quality and the audio performance of the movie. I found the plot to be rather well-thought out but the pacing of the movie to be a bit on the slower side. Regardless, I enjoyed the time the movie spent on flushing out the development of the characters (past-selves versus future-selves). I found some of the action sequences to be true to what I recollect from the X-men comics of old.

A friend told me that this might be the best movie in the entire X-Men franchise. I was skeptical, but... he was right! The story was well told, humor in the right amount and the right spots, and, really, not much to complain about at all. If you're even a passive fan of the X-Men, do yourself a favor and check this one out.

Yes, this is the Xmen movie you should watch, especially if you enjoy both the original and new casts...you get them both in this movie. While there is some of the "passing of the torch" in this movie, and a nearly total retconn of the entire franchise (Marvel should've held onto this rather than letting Fox license it from them), it's a great story adapted from the comics, and well worth watching for the 70's funk.

This already fantastic movie was edited to leave out a major character (Rogue) and a little side-story based upon a fear that consumers would be distracted too much from the actual storyline and not the mini-plot about rescuing Rogue. I think that the movie is much better the way that it was intended.

What a blast! This is by far the best of the of X-Men movies at the time (Logan and Deadpool are king now) Great mix of the original and new younger cast. Great special effects and a great twist. Still not as good as Disney's MCU but deff a wonderful Fox hero flick. Must watch!

I really like the X-men movies, and while this is a good one, I wouldn't say it is my favorite. Some of the story line can be a little hard to follow, especially for those who don't watch every movie and pay close attention to all the little details. I found myself trying to explain a lot to some people I watched it with. But as far as a fun, action packed experience, you won't be disappointed.

At first I wasn't sure about this one. I was excited as hell for it though. It manages to do exactly what it was promised and does it well. The movie serves as an excellent sequel to First Class and a perfect send off for the cast of the original trilogy to make up for the wreck that was The Last Stand.

Great affects, great story, great action, This is a great movie, with everyone returning to reprise their characters! The story and action are fantastic and you will be taken on a ride through the past and future to save all the mutants of the marvel universe! One of the best comic book movies ever!

This movie is good and with the added 17 minutes in the rogue cut makes it all the better.This cut adds more some more action and scenes with rogue somewhat changes a few parts of the movie but in a way that make sense.If you liked this movie this will be the version to buy enjoy.

Pretty good movie. I like the xmen films but in hindsight they got made before there was a plan for styles laid out. At least it’s got it’s own style

I'm glad they included the extra footage into this "Rogue Cut" but I still prefer the theatrical cut and can understand why they left it out. Still, there are new bonus features as well, and if you don't have the original release, this is a must - buy as it has both versions.

Maybe the 2nd best X-Men movie, second to X-Men 1st Class. More story line involved here which could be be hard to follow from time to time if you're not into the whole X-Men comic book universe. Good special effects and very entertaining action. A must see for super hero fans.
