If you haven't seen it, see it. It's tone is dark, but they have a lot of fun with the film too. Because of the way time-travel stories work, they can take liberties with characters and consequences that they normally couldn't. I saw one of my favorite heroes die! *gasp* As close to a comic book as I have seen portrayed on-screen. Watch it! Love it!

Right now, I put this movie just a little bit below Marvel's The Avengers. The story, characters, and visuals are spectacular. You need to watch the other X-men movies to understand the story or at least X-Men First Class. If you're not an X-men comic book reader then you might not understand the end credit scene but when I saw it I got goosebumps.

I have seen all of the X-men films and this is one of the best. The special effects are very good and so is the acting. Almost every major character in the previous films makes at least a cameo appearance. But the real star here is the script. What a great way to re-set the whole franchise. They now have options here for all types of film to move the story in almost anyway they want. As a time traveling film it leaves a lot of "What if's" etc. Overall a satisfying movie to watch

Just when you thought x-Men First Class had been the best of the x-men movies, here comes x-men: Days of Future Past. It has instantly become the easy favorite for all the x-men followers. It has action, comedy and drama! And all the characters get their moment in the spotlight at some point in the movie. The Blu-ray has great extra features also.

This installment in the X Men series is the best so far- Simply for the various scenes of mutant skills and theatrics alone! I bought the box set version and it comes with a booklet which describes the skills and abilities of the X Men as well as art drawings from fans which are very impressive. This film is definitely worth your hard earned money.

chock full of action and adventure combined with the intrigue and mystery of time travel. Like all X-men movies the underlying theme of bigotry and fear of the unknown flows through past and present. The special effects are terrific, Hugh Jackman is eye candy in any time frame! Cool to see 'the professor' with hair and Magneto with a conscience.

The 3D-BD-X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST @ BBY (Blu-ray 3D) exclusive packaging was nicely done. However, I was hoping for a commemorative Blu-ray 3D tin version with exceptional artwork, and without the cards, (kind of like the artwork that was done for the Fast and the Furious 7 collectors exclusive tin packaging,...that was sweet!!! ) Outside of that, the movie is awesome! Good job Best Buy! Let's see some awesome Best Buy Exclusives,( and commemorative tins) for bluray movies!!!

Can't describe the feel of a 3D movie at home. It worked perfectly and it gives a great addition to the whole experience. It it amazing to see it like that at home and it just feels that the movie is happening while you standing in the middle of it all. All the x-men movies are great, but this literally adds a whole new dimension to it...

I am big on buying movies. I always check to see who has the coolest or best version. This was by far the coolest. With the small file from Trask ind. and the awesome Sentinel on the cover. I do wish it had come with a DVD as well. It would have increased its value to me if it had. But all in all still an excellent set to add to ones collection.

This film sets to rights many of the issues that other films in the series (including the "old" X Men films) had created. This is a great cross-over between the old and the new story-lines and is very satisfying to watch. As a fan of not only the characters, but also the comic books, this lets me breathe a sigh of relief and enjoyment to watch.

How good is this X-Men movie? It's on par with all the best Marvel Studio movies. The X-Men movies have had some clunkers over the years, but this was an epic story involving all of the best X-Men that turns the entire franchise on its head. Make sure you see X-Men First Class first before seeing this one as most of the movie features that cast.

DOFP was a great movie, which pretty much reset that the timeline of those awful X-Men 3 and X-Men Origins: Wolverine movies. It was good to see the combined casts of the original trilogy and the First Class cast. The plot made sense, the action was great (especially that Quicksilver scene). Glad to see Bryan Singer back in the mix of things.

Purchased this on release day. What's nice is although on the outside the packaging is best buy's exclusive, inside is the regular packaging. I say that because the art on the regular (3D edition) is also very catchy. Anyway, this is among my top movies of the year and if you have the whole setup at home, you can't go wrong with this. I however think I need to exchange one piece of this though. The UV code I got doesn't work and Fox customer support hasn't got back with me.

Just finished watching the Rouge Cut. It was a lot of fun seeing how the changes to the film were made. I can understand why the scenes with Rouge were cut out but it was nice to see things as they were originally envisioned. I think I prefer the Rouge Cut over the theatrical cut but only by the slimmest of margins. Great film overall!

The Blu-ray disc of X-Men: Days of Future Past is about as good as it gets for Blu-ray. The picture and sound are fantastic. There's a nice amount of well-produced special features, although nothing too in-depth. The real star here is the film itself; the best X-Men film yet. As for the Best Buy exclusive Sentinel packaging, it's nice, though apparently extremely fragile. Mine came with damage to the inner slipbox. Still, this is a must own, especially for any X-Men fan.

The theatrical cut was fine on it's own, but this cut brings a fan favorite character back. If you haven't seen Days of Future Past, you'd be better off watching the Rogue Cut first because again, it brings back a popular character who is otherwise entirely omitted in the theatrical version, but if you've already seen (and are a fan) of the theatrical version, this new editing of the film will be a hit or a miss with you.

Excellent cast, even though many are given little to do - but presumably most viewers will at least know the background, and be forgiving of anything that seems inconsistent and write it off as part of the reboot. Still view 3D as more of an Occasional Novelty than a necessity, but "Future Passed" makes for a nice demonstration of the tech.

Continues the great reboot trail that First Stand started..... Also corrects an egregious set of story choices by the awful Brett Ratner in XMen 3 via the ever popular alternate timeline angle. JLaw and Michael Fassbender are standouts, with cameos from the original trilogy actors as well..... A scene with Quicksilver is a joy to watch....

I really enjoy the interesting take on time in this movie.both with quicksilver and the "time" travel. You'll understand the quotes around time after you watch. This is an entertaining and fun film for the comic book movie lover. Characters in the x-men universe are explored in ways not possible with a linear story line. I highly recommend!

Non- stop action packed movie that has been years in the making. Ensemble cast helps to elevate this comic book movie above all others. Cover art and extra's provided with Sentinel Blu Ray, 3D, and digital copy package was worth the extra money. I don't even own a 3D TV but I could not pass up the amazing detail on the packaging of this set.
