The top had some minor damage on the back exposing the particle board, but as it was Christmas and my son was excited, we will not be returning. Hopefully it will be sturdy enough to last him a few years.

It says on the specifications that the base is metal, that’s correct but the table itself isn’t carbon fiber as it advertised. Come to find out that it’s compressed wood, you know the cheap kind that’ll warp from moisture and humidity and/or long time use. While fastening the screws on to the table top, I heard this crunching sound and knew right from the start, it wasn’t carbon fiber. Maybe carbon fiber coated, i don’t know. I would’ve returned this but I’m on the second floor and I definitely wouldn’t disassemble it just to bring it in to best buy. Well, I took an L that day for assuming what was advertised is legit and buying this cheaply constructed pc desk.
