The top had some minor damage on the back exposing the particle board, but as it was Christmas and my son was excited, we will not be returning. Hopefully it will be sturdy enough to last him a few years.

It says on the specifications that the base is metal, that’s correct but the table itself isn’t carbon fiber as it advertised. Come to find out that it’s compressed wood, you know the cheap kind that’ll warp from moisture and humidity and/or long time use. While fastening the screws on to the table top, I heard this crunching sound and knew right from the start, it wasn’t carbon fiber. Maybe carbon fiber coated, i don’t know. I would’ve returned this but I’m on the second floor and I definitely wouldn’t disassemble it just to bring it in to best buy. Well, I took an L that day for assuming what was advertised is legit and buying this cheaply constructed pc desk.

What isn’t great was that there was a completely incorrect package of bolts for the assembly process provided. This really had a fella sweating given this was being assembled on Christmas Eve as a gift for my son. If I didn’t have misc bolts and screws laying around I woulda been in a world of trouble.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.buy this desk from anywhere BUT best buy. they shipped me an "open box - excellent" desk with no screws!! according to their website this means all parts and accessories will be included. this was not the case. it was a birthday gift for my 12 year old, ordered over a month ago. finally opened today for his birthday and the screws are missing. i complain to best buy and the best they can do is tell me "sorry this is out of the return window and you opened the box there is nothing we can do." garbage company. stick with amazon or anywhere else.

I like the carbon fiber finish, and it's a decent size if you mount your monitors. However, the lights have to be reconfigured every time you turn it on, and it worked for about 2 weeks, now it just flickers even when it's on solid mode. Definitely not worth it if you're looking forward for the lights as they do not last. If you're just looking for a cheap desk, this does the job.
