The graphics, especially the frame rates, are a massive improvement over the previous generation. But for me, the killer features are the blazing fast load times and quick resume. You spend a lot more time enjoying your games and less time staring at loading screens. Highly recommend upgrading if you can find one!

I had an XB1X and was thinking the series s was going to be a step down. I was flat wrong. This thing is a huge upgrade. Fast, and sleek. I have it mounted behind my wall mounted 42inch 4k tv. Can’t even tell it is there. The one draw back is the storage. I did get the sea gate expandable memory card and it is better than good

Bought a Seagate 4tb hard drive and she can download just about anything on there and play. If you’re into competition this will do the job for console, not the best but it’s good enough. I was able to score a series X but this one is now in my living room and it’s great

Although I am writing this review for the S series I also was able to acquire the Series X and it is one amazingly powerful console. Seeing 4k at 120hz for the first time is quite a sight to see. Its also whisper quite, thank you Microsoft for giving one amazing console for next gen to build upon.

Downloading games and playing on new faster drives have been a night and day difference from past consoles. This is a great Xbox for those only looking to go next gen and not necessarily going full 4K. Size is small, appealing and can fit in most entertainment centers with ease. Definitely a good way to go into the next gen of gaming.

Great complementary console

I use it primarily for GamePass and the occasional xbox exclusives. I have a PS5, but having the form factor of the Xbox Series S, plus the lack of physical games, makes this device easy to take with me on long trips. I think this is a great device, my only grip is the little amount of storage in this digital only device.

The console is great for people that cannot get the Series X or just want something inexpensive. It is a fun console and I am glad to play on the thing.

It’s the fastest console I’ve ever had, and 2K has never played better. This is the way, my friends. Can’t go wrong with $299.

Once it was in stock I purchased and we are very happy with our purchase. Only thing we noticed was that the Xbox is a lot smaller than depicted online. It’s okay because our Xbox One literally stopped working a month before we ordered this one. This Xbox doesn’t require as much counter space as the Xbox one and we love that!
