Unexpectedly powerful for such as small box. We bought this as the "2nd Xbox" for the bedroom and I wasn't expecting much. However I've been able to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla at 60 fps after the latest update and it's incredible. The graphics clearly aren't as crisp as the Series X, but for the price the Series S offers great value.

The main difference I see is the speed compared to the Xbox One and you can pickup where you last left off playing. Is it worth buying if you have the One? No! I only bought it because I can’t buy the Series X! When I get the X I will sell the S! No disk drive isn’t cutting it for Me. I gave it a chance but I need my drive and the HardDrive space is ridiculous. I also have the Elite 2 controller and you have to pair it each time you want to play the One or the S! Microsoft should make the controller pair to,at least, 2 systems at the same time!

This little console is very different. I did like it and didn't at the same time. It does run super quiet and stays cool. It just depends on what you want it for. If you're expecting 4K at high FPS, this is not the model you want. This is a digital only console which I already knew but I was hoping for just a tad more storage. When its all said and done, you only get a little over 300gb of storage which just isn't enough. This console with run most games at 1440p at 60fps. It is just a matter of what you want it for.

I originally had the xbox one for 8 years and loved it but this console was definitely worth the upgrade. 10/10 and i LOVE how you can play a game on the xbox one s then pick up where you left off on pc with the cloud gaming. LOVE LOVE LOVE

4.9 Stars. Other than the small storage space (500 gb) & no disc reader, this console is great. Also, you cant beat the price. Very satisfied.

The Series S may not be a powerhouse like the Series X but it’s small size, light weight, and huge library of downloadable games makes it a great addition for any gamer. My only complaint is the 500gb hard drive but I usually just delete games when I know I won’t play them for a while.

Good for a console to play on and feels like new which is great.

Pleasantly surprised. I was concerned about storage capacity, but as an average gamer, I have downloaded most of my current games and still have room to spare. Performance is a cast improvement over Xbox One X, but still not as good as the Series X, obviously.

I was waiting to buy the Series X but its been to long and not available for months, the series S was available so I grab it and after buying the series S I'm not sure i'll get the Series X for a while now, the series S went well beyond my expectations, one word GTA loads instantly no more pain waiting for games to load

Bought this for my son to replace his Xbox One X. He says it performs much better on his games than his old unit. It's a no brainer for X/S series optimized games and will soon be a requirement to play new games coming out.

If you’re looking for convenient next generation gaming, or not willing to shelf out big money just yet, this is it for you. Depending on how many games you play, you should consider getting the expansion card, but overall it is a great console. Very convenient with sizing and pleasant to the eye. Would recommend to anyone.

Honestly, was looking for the series X and settled with the series s due to availability. I don’t regret my purchase one but. Sure memory is only 500gb but getting a terabyte card is easy and cheap and this Xbox is worth every penny. High speed, great loading times, and beautiful pictures

Husband and kids love it!! So much better than the old Xbox one! Speed, graphics, etc all a huge step up. I wasn’t real sure about the digital version it that’s all that was available so we went with it. No problems so far. Will likely upgrade to a some extra storage space soon, but we’re getting by without it for now.

Great little console for the price. For 299 you get a lot of game. This is a hard to beat console for the price. The only thing would be the storage. It’s half the storage as the series x but for my personal use I have not had a problem with it. If anyone else does you can purchase extra storage for it.

Best console optimized games for the console is fast .

There are deals going around from time to time for this XBOX S series. It is quite a cool one even compared with the mighty black edition. Easy to connect and easy to operate. 512 GB should be enough fir most games but there is also a 1TB version available. S series are pretty affordable and worth buying.

Great next gen console for $200 less than the series X

Series s isn’t as nice as series x. But will get the job done if you are trying to save ,only amd not by disc.
