      Hello there,

We're sorry if you were sent the wrong product. If you're still within Best Buy's return period, we recommend exchanging it for a new Xbox Series S or ask for a refund if none are available.

      Hope that helps,

    Compact Powerhouse for Next-Gen Gaming!

I recently purchased the Xbox Series S, and I am genuinely impressed! This console offers an incredible value for anyone looking to experience next-gen gaming without breaking the bank. Its compact design is sleek and fits perfectly in small spaces, which is a huge plus for me. The setup was quick and easy, and I was up and running in minutes. In terms of performance, the Series S does not disappoint. The load times are insanely fast thanks to the SSD, and the graphics are crisp, with smooth frame rates in all the games I’ve tried. Although it doesn’t have a disc drive, Xbox Game Pass makes it easy to access a massive library of games at a very reasonable price. The digital-only aspect was initially a concern, but with Game Pass, it’s a non-issue. If you’re looking for an affordable next-gen experience and don’t mind going digital, the Xbox Series S is a fantastic choice!

Product came in a box that was not tightly packed, when I picked up the box the console started shifting around inside. Best Buy did put in a few bubble pillows, however once the box turned or flipped over once it all shifted around. I have yet to test the console out because it’s a Christmas gift

Sleek, Swift, and Seriously Fun - Xbox Series S

The Xbox Series S is a marvel of modern gaming technology, packed into a sleek and compact design that fits perfectly in any entertainment setup. As the smaller sibling in the Xbox Series lineup, it doesn’t skimp on power or performance, making it an ideal choice for both casual gamers and hardcore enthusiasts alike. Right out of the box, the Series S impresses with its minimalist aesthetic and space-saving size, but it's the inside that counts, and this console doesn't disappoint. Powered by a custom SSD, the Series S dramatically reduces load times, allowing me to jump into games quicker than ever before. The 512 GB of storage, while modest, is ample for managing several large games and can be expanded with additional storage solutions if needed. The all-digital format is another highlight, supporting a streamlined gaming experience where I can download all my titles from the Xbox store. This feature not only eliminates physical clutter but also grants instant access to a vast library of digital games, including many next-gen titles. Graphics performance, though not as robust as its bigger counterpart, the Series X, still dazzles on the Series S. Games look stunning in up to 1440p resolution, and with support for up to 120 fps, gameplay is buttery smooth. The ray tracing capabilities add a touch of realism that brings game worlds to life, making every session more immersive. The Xbox Series S also shines with its backward compatibility, offering access to thousands of games across four generations of Xbox. Whether it’s revisiting classics or catching up on recent hits, the transition is seamless, with many older games enhanced by the console's superior hardware. Connectivity and social features are top-notch, integrating effortlessly with the Xbox ecosystem for multiplayer games, sharing achievements, and streaming gameplay. The controller, inheriting the best aspects of the Xbox tradition, feels just right in the hands—responsive and comfortable for long gaming marathons. In conclusion, the Xbox Series S is an outstanding console that strikes an excellent balance between performance and affordability. It’s the perfect gateway into next-gen gaming without the hefty price tag of more powerful units. Whether you’re upgrading from an older console or stepping into gaming for the first time, the Series S offers everything you need to dive into the world of Xbox games and beyond. Holiday gamers, rejoice! The Series S is here to make your season bright and endlessly entertaining.

Compact and powerful (enough) for all those awesome Xbox exclusives. Totally worth it with Gamepass. Setup was super easy using the Xbox app. Only downside is the limited storage space, but streaming games on Gamepass makes up for that (so young to upgrade the storage though)

Bought this in 2022 - I'm a casual gamer and this console was great when I bought it and still great now. The storage can sometimes be an issue since I tend to enjoy very large (110+ GB) games, but I saved money on it and nothing is perfect so I'm happy to delete a game if something more interesting catches my eye. The graphics are fantastic, and even better looking after I bought an updated TV this year (my previous TV was from 2017). Gamepass is great and I keep my game data saved so it's not really an issue. If you're considering it, just go for it, it's great. Love the controller too! I have small hands and my last controller often left me with pretty bad hand cramping - no such problems w/ this one.

This thing is cool, we like it. It is smaller than our Xbox one s the download speeds are better, the load times are better, and the graphics are probably better too, but we got it on a small little Phillips Roku TV that isn't a 4K TV so it is hard to tell. I do wish the SSD was at least 1tb and not 512gb

I picked this up during black friday from under $250. The console is quite snappy and runs some games at 120fps. The console is also very small so its easy to travel with. The ray tracing is also decent. If you pair this with Gamepass, its excellent value! My only complaint is that the base storage is quite low. You don't even get 400gb out of the box. The storage expansion is pretty pricey so keep that in mind.

I've owned an Xbox Series X since launch. My review will be based on the differences in both. But, if you're looking to step into NextGEN gaming... the Series S is a great starting place PROS: - A great price point if you're not heavily gaming (A few hours a week) - Backwards Compatibility Catalog (Not all but some great OG Xbox and 360) - Game Pass basically adds a library of over 100 games (from AAA to Indie) which makes it perfect for the Series S - No controller drift... yet (Series X) - Resolution and Framerate improvements to older games CONS: - Lack of NEW Games (that take advantage of the system power) PREFERENCES (Things that can be a pro or con based on the user) - Controller is a little smaller (In some games that work in my favor, in others it don't) - Series S doesn't have True 4K 60fps (but a lot of the time I'm playing in 1080p 120fps) Some might like the review, some might not. But, this review is intended to help you decide whether you want a Series S. In my opinion, Series S and Game Pass are a bargain.

I love the Xbox One Series S because first of all it's half the size of my original Xbox 1; plus, it is so quiet and cool. My Xbox1 original console would overheat agter about 2 bours of continuous game play. This new unit is so gast and efficient, I love it. As if all that wasn't enough, it comes with a wireless remote and you can even play games from the cloud so there is no more annoying downloads of cds, or being annoyed that the cd is scratched and won't play. I highly recommend you upgrade if you are considering a new Xbox console.

When I opened the box, I was shocked at how compact this little monster is. When standing on its side, it has a smaller footprint than my iPhone 13, and it is perfect for home or travel. It runs as smooth as my series X. Only complaint is the memory, but with the 1 TB coming out in fall 2023, I would opt for this and save the money unless you really value the higher frame rate and disc drive offered by the series x. This is a genuine contender.

Easy to order and pick up. I was more interested in getting a PS5 due to console capabilities and exclusives but decided to go the cheaper and more available route. Xbox series S has exceeded these expectations. Short load times, easy set up, great interface and no issues with any games. I cannot speak to the 4k as my TV is about 13 years old but the graphics are still next gen. Game pass offers a cheap way to access loads of games. Great console for any type of console gamer. Very happy with the purchase.
