First, I can't believe how tiny this console is. I have an Xbox One and it makes the Series S look like a switch. But that doesn't matter because it's a great gaming console, it's fast, quite and efficient. May not be as powerful as the Series X but that doesn't matter cause at this price point it is a great buy. Been having fun playing Gears 5 on it, definitely a hit for Microsoft.

All though this counsel is an entry level for next gen gaming. It has far exceed my expectations. My only complaint would be that the storage is very low. Outside of that it’s an amazing system. Thank you to Best Buy for making the delivery very fast. I received my counsel before the suggested delivery date. I will be ordering from Best Buy in the future.

I like that Microsoft are offering two options. This is the digital only Xbox. The small design is perfect for our needs. The only downfall to these new consoles are the lack of memory internally. If you download 1 to 3 video games that is all your memory. I suggest investing in a compatible hard drive if you are a heavy gamer.

Kept looking for the Xbox Series X but could not get a hold of it so I decided to buy this S series instead and it actually surprised me how awesome of a console it is. Downside is the memory to it which is about 340gbs but the resolution and the quality of playing games on it is still amazing! It’s also quite small and compact for its power!

It’s cheap, smaller than the Series X and better than the PS5 and I love it! I’ve had constant issues with controller connectivity that almost cost it a star deduction but all issues are simply fixed if you pull the power cord and restart. Also unhappy with storage space, but could temporarily solve that issue with an external HD. Performance wise, it’s amazing.

Runs really smooth and works just like the Xbox series x but for a cheaper price! Great to store and keep hidden

This is more than a starter console, it does the job, for the price is flawless, bought a couple, no issues after 2 years!!

Great Xbox but got a stuck A button on my controller strait out of the box, and controller is unplayable because of that. Graphics are awesome though and load times are super fast, just sucks for the controller. Customer support hasn’t emailed me since when I called them, they said they would email me again and that was 3 weeks ago. Best Buy doesn’t sell the controllers on their own so I would have to return my entire Xbox and controller to get a new set entirely. Sucks.

So good we bought 2. Our kids have throughly enjoyed these. Absolutely worth the money. Fast compact and easy to setup. Would definitely recommend for anyone. Easily able to use with accessories.

Ultimately I returned it because I was able to acquire a Series X. I was so impressed with the size and price of the Series S that I think anyone wanting to get into next gen gaming on a shoestring budget has the perfect option. Combined with game pass, the Series S is a no brainer

Let me start off by saying that I got a Series X first and I LOVE IT so I wanted to have a secondary console so that I didn’t have to be moving or transporting my Series X around wherever I wanted to play. So I thought to check out the Series S to see what it had to offer. All I can say is WOW! I love my Series S, same gaming experience, but in a more portal form factor. I would say I play more on my Series S now because it continues to blow me away in terms of what it is capable of producing out of the “budget console”. On paper I’d say the Series S is between a ps4 pro and Xbox one x, but what Microsoft did to maximize its capabilities to give you that next gen experience, was a job well done! If you were on the fence about this, don’t be! This console is worth every dollar. Keep in mind that not all games will look as crisp as on the Series X BUT this little box still can produce 4K at 30fps which is still enough for titles but you lower the resolution to get more FPS in more fast paced titles and the picture still looks good. Also the 4K up scaling I’d say is very good, maybe not the best but remember this console came out less than a year ago and improvements will only make this more of a sleeper beast with time. GET IT

Bought for the wife who isn't as huge of a gamer as myself but likes to dabble! I have the x and other then reduced graphics (but still looks pretty dang gd) i don't see much diffrence. Fast, quiet, small in stature, has quick resume, room for more storage. Great second console and u can actually get your hands on this one. Wife is happy!

Fantastic little console. Great for the casual gamer or if you wanna have a nice portable system. I have an xbox series X and I bought the S to keep at my parents house for when the kids and I visit. There are tons of titles on gamepass and lots of free to play titles as well to keep them entertained. It runs really well and is great if you dont care about things like framerate and resolution. its a solid 1080p experience. I would rate it 5/5 if it had a disc drive as there are tons of cheap xbox one/xbox 360 games on the used market I would like to buy but cant due to an all digital platform.

Small, compact, and great performance for someone looking who plays casually when theyre bored or coming home from working all day. I work 5-6 days a week and I usually come home and try to unwind and throw on a show or listen to some music or play a quick game with friends or family

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it it’s easy to operate, the graphics are amazing. I was worried when it didn’t have a disc about her losing memory but it’s so easy to save the games to your library and then switch them around. Awesome game system.

My tech abilities are probably a bit above average (although a long ways from being Geek Squad stuff), but this is still easy to set-up and use even if you have only average tech ability and can use YouTube. It's also actually available and appears to be a good value proposition as long as you know what your getting.

This Xbox is perfect and doesn’t take up too much space it runs so well for its small size and it being digital minimizes the clutter with disks and more it is so convenient having all my games in my library rather than taking up space around the house.
