Customers commend the Xbox Series S for its affordability, compact size, and impressive performance, especially considering its price point. Many appreciate the ease of use and fast load times, along with the benefits of Xbox Game Pass. However, some users point out limitations in storage capacity and the lack of a disc drive as significant drawbacks. The console's resolution capabilities also receive mixed feedback.

Xbox Series S is professional, and productive. It’s small enough to bring anywhere is compact-able enough for open space. Great storage, but if you play many games you need more.

Got this as a secondary console to my ps5 to play games on game pass. I have been playing Forza Horizon 5 the last couple of days and it has been amazing. Even with the upscale graphics, I couldn’t tell difference between upscale 4K and native 4K. Overall amazing for the price

This is a small Xbox that fits perfectly in my media center and works perfectly for my needs. I’m able to download third party apps and games, as well as access Xbox Game Pass which is a pretty great value. It runs everything I need. I highly recommend it for the price.

phenomenal value for a next gen experience! I have a hard time telling the difference on my 40" 4k screen from my SX console in 4k on my 55" if money is an issue or you need a second room xbox do not hesitate with the Series S, I love how small it is compared to the hulking ps5 and fridge SX

I bought this for my son, he loves his Bornday present. It's "Next Gen" enough for hom to get the benefits of the higher fps & enhanced graphics, yet easily fit in his room and easy on my wallet. I wasn't sure of the Series S, I own a Series X since launch. However I'm sold on the system.

Fast load times, great graphics, and the controller is easier to use than my previous experience with the PS4 controller. Get one! And with the Game Pass, it's a blast to picks from over 100 games to play on demand (after downloading, that is...) The design also looks very nice chilling near my TV.

Good deal if you need a console upgrade but aren’t a big time gamer. Value is great in $-per-feature, compared to the Xbox series X, ps5 both versions. Real question is whether you value gaming enough to pay for more nifty features. This is the Honda Accord, does everything well that you need and won’t set you back anymore than you need, while the other consoles may be more akin to slightly more sporty cars that are cool and all, but don’t necessarily make a huge difference in its overall real purpose.

I've owned an Xbox Series X since launch. My review will be based on the differences in both. But, if you're looking to step into NextGEN gaming... the Series S is a great starting place PROS: - A great price point if you're not heavily gaming (A few hours a week) - Backwards Compatibility Catalog (Not all but some great OG Xbox and 360) - Game Pass basically adds a library of over 100 games (from AAA to Indie) which makes it perfect for the Series S - No controller drift... yet (Series X) - Resolution and Framerate improvements to older games CONS: - Lack of NEW Games (that take advantage of the system power) PREFERENCES (Things that can be a pro or con based on the user) - Controller is a little smaller (In some games that work in my favor, in others it don't) - Series S doesn't have True 4K 60fps (but a lot of the time I'm playing in 1080p 120fps) Some might like the review, some might not. But, this review is intended to help you decide whether you want a Series S. In my opinion, Series S and Game Pass are a bargain.

This is a great system. I bought this to play Xbox exclusive titles and Xbox Game Pass and I am more than satisfied. Yes, it is not as good as the Series X but for the price and what you get, this system has been an absolute joy to play with. I highly recommend this system.

Very small size console that powerful to play almost all games and streaming apps at a high quality. The boot up time of apps are pretty good. It's not top of the line but its definitely close to it. I would recommend it to people who is looking to game here and there on a budget.

The Xbox Series X looms over the Series S, but the S has its own punches to give! The S does essentially the same as the X but at 1440p and half the size! Non 4k ready gamers, this is the pick up for you. Beast of a console and the upscaled 4k looks great! 299 is a bargain for this level of tech!

The Xbox Series S is fast, powerful, and affordable. Quick Resume, 120 FPS, and Game Pass make gaming smooth and exciting. I loved it so much that I bought one for my little cousin—he’s obsessed! Perfect for any gamer looking for next-gen performance in a compact, budget-friendly package.

A good upgrade from the xbox1. Good price range. Looks sleek, takes up less space, runs smoother! No loud sounds. Has a on/off button that helps from the older version that even the SLIGHTEST touch it would turn off/on. A gift to my husband, he loves it! Was so excited to see it.

Bought this only because series X isn’t available but I don’t regret buying it because its just fine! Very light weight and small, so you can fit this thing just about anywhere. Quick resume is most noticeable for me. & also load times are about 20 seconds tops.

With Starfield on the horizon I had to make sure I could play it day one. With my only Xbox One it was incompatible with this new game so I had to make the most cost efficient upgrade. After setting it up using the Xbox app on my phone I am so glad I purchased this item. It is a wonderful addition to my entertainment system as a whole and provides not only optimal gaming content but access to my existing streaming services at the press of a button. I highly recommend this product if this the 1TB option is out of your price range because it offers pretty close to what is needed to accomplish the new chapter of gaming.

If you are new to the Xbox portfolio or an existing user, the Series S works out very well for an additional console. We have a Series X for the main TV and started adding Series S consoles for secondary TVs. Plenty fast, smaller than the older Xbox one S, and faster by a wide margin,
