A Budget Investment
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're not playing on a 4K TV and plan on using Game Pass anyway, there's no reason not to invest in a Series S as it serves wonderfully as a second household console if you plan on getting an X later.

Nice option for next gen gaming
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better console than I thought. Very fast speed, games run great and look great. Gives you the taste of next gen without hurting the wallet. Only knock is the storage capacity. But can be upgraded with memory cards.

Good buy,
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just what I expected. As advertised - compact, fast, and much improved. A bit disappointed that older disk based games instantly become gargbage.

Compact and convenient
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this Xbox a few years ago now. Compared to the Xbox ones there’s a lot less issues. We like the no disc option, and to be able to run TV programs like Netflix and Disney+, which sales it an easy thing to grab to take on vacations so we have all of our shows/movies available. It’s very small and compact, and the cord to this doesn’t have that giant surge protector box.

Great Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glad I purchased this very small and love the no disc feature as it reduces clutter. The only downfall is the storage space but as long as your good with deleting and adding then it’s worth it.

Great for Gamers
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the new Series S. The price really isn't too terrible. Do wish it had a little more storage space because of how expensive external hard drives are for these, but overall worth it.

completely underrated console.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great graphics. completely underrated. The system is much better than I thought. It is a very subtle difference in resolution between the series s and series x and even the ps5.

There's no power greater than X
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remember those old Xbox commercials from shortly after the original console launched in 2001? Well, the Xbox Series S reaffirms that there really is no power greater than X. Sure, you're not getting an optical drive here, but that doesn't mean that this system isn't anything short of amazing. I've played games on here that I also have on PC and I kid you not, I can't tell the difference between the two versions. If PC gaming isn't your bag or if space is at a premium (or both), then definitely look into getting this beautiful system!

It’s alright, smells weird though.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right when I opened it from the box it has a weird funky smell. No, it’s not the “new” smell. It’s like the new smell mixed with the musty smell you’d get from a house full of pets. Is it new? Refurbished? I don’t know, I had to wait almost two weeks for it to arrive so I’m assuming it’s new and the smell is from manufacturing? Other than that gross smell. It’s alright, does exactly what an Xbox is supposed to do; play games. 512GB is pretty limited, but nothing storage expansion won’t fix. The new revision to the controller that launched with the Series X|S is pretty nice and leagues above the old 360 controller I’m coming from. It’s also compact and quiet, has a nice modern look to it that doesn’t go all extreme. The upscaling doesn’t look all that great when compared to native 4K. You can see within the consoles Home Screen/menus options isn’t as sharp (yes, I know it’s target resolution is 1440p, but it does have the option to select 4K in the settings and no, I’m not using a cheap TV I have it hooked up to a LG CX). I intended to use this strictly for Game Pass so those short comings don’t bother me, except that weird smell. Makes you just wanna vomit, anyway, if you are bothered with the Series S’s shortcomings and want something more you are better off getting the Series X.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I havent had a xbox since the original one came out, but so far this xbox s is very small and load times and very impressive. This is plenty small enough to be mounted behind a TV on wall as well. Love it so far
