I've read all kinds of crap in reviews of the Xbox Series X, and have yet to see any of those problems, and can't find any way to agree with any of the complaints. I'm not saying it's perfect, and I'm far from a Microsoft fan (been in IT support since 1976 and have a very low regard of Microsoft in general), but my experience with this product has been not just entertaining, but actually pleasurable. The unit is quiet, performance is incredible, and the new controllers' controls and textured grip are outstanding. I saw one complaint about someone's hands hurting after using the controller for a while, blaming smaller size of the controller, but I've not experienced this, and my hands aren't huge, but they're above average size and beefy from using hand tools all my life. So my take on it, after a month of daily use, is that reviewers with a slew of complaints, especially the professional reviewers doing magazine articles, are complaining just to garner attention, views, or whatever. After all, why should the absence of exclusive releases bother me? Should I care that somebody with a PS5 is also able to enjoy a game? What's really important is that some games have been upgraded to take full advantage of the extra power and features in this unit, and those seem to be "appropriately plentiful" to say the least. So after giving Microsoft a gut punch in multiple reviews reviews over the course of my career (Windows ME, Windows Vista, Active Directory, the Windows Registry, various reviews of ridiculous problems in Microsoft's Office suite across multiple versions, the abomination that is Microsoft Access, the horrible interface in Visio, and bugs in every version of Windows that continue to be passed on without correction to the next successive version of Windows, for starters), I don't have a single complaint about this product, and thoroughly enjoy using it.

Everything plays amazing! I didn’t think it was going to be such a large improvement graphically and performance wise, but it truly is. If you own a tv that supports 120fps I would buy the series x in a heartbeat. I’m beyond excited to see the future of true next gen games in a year or two. If you don’t have a top of the line tv. I would wait a year or so and upgrade your tv before upgrading to the series x so you can get the full benefit of wait this amazing system can can give, but either way upgrading to it now or later you simply won’t regret it.

Games on Series X look amazing, backwards compatibility is great with enhancements such as FPS increases or updating games 4K. New games are visually stunning and everything flows smoothly. Going from one game to another feel so quick and load times are almost nonexistent. As a next gen console, this is a great thing to pick up along with Xbox Game Pass with access to so many games that are loved by the gaming community you won’t buy many games unless you have specific ones in mind that aren’t on Game Pass.

Pros: Fast, plays games that the Xbox One would stumble on with high frame rates. As the games ramp up as far as graphics and performance this system will get better and better. Was able to unplug external drive with my games and play them (including 360 games and original xbox games) Game pass has some really fun games on it (Forza Horizon 5 and Project Wingman) Cons: Same exact interface as the Xbox One (if you like the UI the Xbox One has, this may not be a con for you)

BY FAR THE BEST PURCHASE EVER!! I use to play on a Xbox one and the difference is crazy. Xbox x graphic are amazing and gameplay is smooth. The fps I use to get don’t even bother me now. 4K display is compatible with the Xbox x and makes for a whole different experience. Xbox x comes with 1tb which is good for some games however is not bad. Highly recommend

Connection to my TV was easy and convenient, but I was trying to connect it initially to my large desktop screen and it would not work. The system is great and I really enjoy the game and control that came with it.

We were lucky to find both xbox series x and ps5 when stock was available. We mainly play warzone 95% of the time. And graphics are crisp and clear on xbox compared to ps5. I don’t know if the game is optimized for xbox or not, but ps5 is big disappointment in terms warzone graphics. However, ps5 has capture capabilities much better than xbox. you can record your gameplay up to 60 mins including game voice chat. Xbox does not record in game voice chat and only limited to 2 mins video capture. This is a big let down for xbox promoting share button. What is the point if you can not capturing voice chat in a big play with friends in warzone and upload to youtube (it would be nice if we could link youtube account to xbox for directly uploading clips). Xbox live also costs $120/year now. This is a big cost increase and not everyone can afford this.

I’ve been a Xbox fan since the OG one. This one is by far the fastest and most powerful console Microsoft put out. I mainly leave just about every game on Graphics mode and don’t notice any hiccups in performance.

So far since owning the series x from launch, no issues whatsoever, quality is amazing of course need to have a true 4k tv to experience the series x potential, load up times are fast, series x makes no noise,, fits well almost anywhere which im glad it doesn't take up to much space, main point i should say is this next generation consoles are a big improvement and awesome to experience no matter which it is ps5 or series x! Last thing, Control is also a thumbs up,,Love the new texture, the grip behind the control and overall feel, feels premium! Good job Microsoft! Can't wait for Halo Infinite!

Never been on Xbox platform before, so series X was my entry point of Xbox. So bare with me if I sound like I don't know what I am saying. Anyways. I got this pretty much because I am currently using game pass on my PC. Game Pass is a great service that Microsoft started waaaaay before Sony announced there tiered PS service. One thing for sure, MS's Game pass include PC games if you go ultimate while Sony's even highest tier would not. This is already better deal as Sony's most expensive $17.99 monthly only give PS3 games to be "streamed", while MS's game pass allows full download of ALL versions of the game it offers along with cloud gaming. No brainer to keep game pass and stay lowest tier on PS plus. Xbox series X comes into the picture because I can play games released since Xbox 360 days until now. I can either buy used 360 games or download one of the 360 games provided in the game pass. I mean... I don't need to play them but some games used to be on PS3 that is also on Xbox 360 that doesn't have remaster version. I can play those without issue on xbox series x as long as I have physical disc or on game pass. UI's great too. I find PS UI to be sluggish and dated. Sony tried to polish up the UI/UX that has been established since PS3, but I don't get how they can't find a way to reduce loading speed of ICONs... Xbox's UI has been pretty smooth so far. Never had to wait for icons to be loaded. But then... loading speed for games was faster on PS5 since most games made by Sony's internal studios have super fast loading (like 1-2 sec on most of the game). Xbox on the other hand... Halo infinity took a good 15-20 seconds loading screen per mission or quick access point. I mean... Does this matter? not much. As long as it ain't Bloodborne loading time, everything's fine. I find myself using xbox more than my ps5. It's just that MS's service feels better than Sony's. But when it comes to playing games themselves, not much difference I found. If that's the case, I'm going to use the one with better service :D

Very fast and games look great. No games ypu cant play on the xbox you have now. If you get 1. Let your current gold run out. Or if your new to xbox live. Buy 2-3 years of gold for $60 ea year. And up grade it to ultimate for $1 (or $15 if you used the 1$ ultimate upgrade and let it run out) and convert that 2-3 years of gold to ultimate and have until 2024. All the games wit game pass ea pass and more has had me playing a lot of games i woulda never bought or tried. Ive been playing it more than my PS5( which is also no biggie yet. So dont sweat it).

Everything looks much smoother and runs more efficiently than the Xbox one especially when playing the few compatible games at 120 hz. However it still doesn’t feel like a next gen console. I remember being blown away going from PS1 to PS2 or xbox to 360 and I don’t get the same feeling here. I was much younger then so maybe it was just being an over excited kid. Positives. The new controller feels much better than the old, it’s noticeably heavier. Quick resume is a great feature for single person games, I switch back and forth between multiplayer games and AC Valhalla it’s super nice that I’m exactly where I left off even if it’s a few days removed. If you play just MP games then it’s kind of useless as you need to still reconnect to the servers. Load times are much better overall though I haven’t tried this out with any 360 games or original Xbox games. Very quiet The only real negatives When setting it up with my LG nanocell TV which I bought specifically for the launch as it has a hdmi 2.1 port. First the screen tinted a hazy green, then I had no picture at all. But after several online forums the problem was fixed for good. I wish they provided a larger hard drive. I’m already 75% filled and only have a handful of games, so I’ll probably have to buy the seagate SSD eventually. Still i recommend purchasing but may want to wait until the first price cut.
