I bought this as a Christmas present for my grandson. He had an Xbox One and handed that one down to his younger brother. The Xbox Series X is so much faster when loading and the graphics are amazing!

Got the Starfield bundle. So far so good. Love the feel of the controllers, updated graphics, and modern gameplay. Also like that this is backwards compatible.

Though the interface is nearly the same, transferring all my Xbox One X saves and games was quick and painless, allowing me to sell the console and replace it with this one permanently. All the backwards compatible games that worked on the One X seem to work here as well. The new Quick Resume feature is great and allows me to switch discs or games and start right where I left off, without all the loading screens. More convenient then I thought. Occasionally the feature crashes but most of the time it works great. I encountered an issue where having too many tabs open in the internet app would cause the console to turn off, but zero issues when playing games so far. I assume the internet issue will be fixed with a firmware update eventually but its not a big deal. Games load much faster now, old and new games. That alone is a huge improvement. Will be a while before there is any exclusive next gen games for the console but its still great to get the best running console versions of current games.

Best console ever made. The design of the box, the build quality and the performance are second to none. Microsoft has redeemed themselves in my eyes. The system has everything you could ever want, and runs games at 4k 60fps no problem, some at 120fps. Just amazing. Then there is gamepass which is the icing on the cake, very sexy icing on a very sexy cake.

Great system! Easy to set-up and get connected. Games take much less time to load than the previous console. Recent price increases is the only downside.

I bought this over a year ago and i absolutely love it

Absolute powerhouse, quiet as a mouse, every game I have played on it runs buttery smooth. This machine right here can fit so many good times in it. Only issue I had was that for some reason during the initial start up, these consoles have a hard time connecting to wi-fi to update. Had to use mobile hotspot to get through that point but otherwise no other issues.

Really good console Graphics are awesome and speed is lightning fast.

Great console, easy to setup and worth buying with a 4k tv. If you have a chance to get a 120hrtz tv or monitor, it does make a difference. The speed of the console is another nice upgrade.

Upgrading from the Xbox One X and very happy with the performance difference. Much smoother high action gaming with sustained framerates. Controller range seems to be improved. SSD makes game loading so much better, load times in games makes for a much more enjoyable gaming session. It was not easy to get an order in online but keep trying, it is worth it.

The biggest difference is the load times on the new console. It is indeed a huge improvement. However at launch there aren't that many compelling titles yet, just mostly reissue games redone for the new console. I think we need to see how good they are at flexing all the horse power underneath the hood once these more compelling games get released. Overall its an improvement but the console feels like an iterative change, not necessarily an evolutionary one. Its like old Xbox just better. The PS5 however uses some cool haptics feedback on the controller which is new and adds an interesting wrinkle. However I have always been an Xbox fan, I like the feel of the controller and the exclusives like Halo. Like I said, kind of the same just better. Lets wait for more titles.

I have both the Series S and the X and the new SSD makes the world of a difference. The consoles are whisper quiet and the Series X makes older games run as if they were brand new. Even games like Dynasty Warriors 9 which ran under 30 fps are locked to 60 fps without next-gen patches. Ever since the inclusion of Quick Resume playing through backlogs are a breeze!

Runs quiet, and doesn’t get hot after hours of console being on. Graphics are amazing on a $1000+ tv but slightly above average on other TVs. If you’re looking for the “next gen” console but don’t want to spend that “next gen” tv money get the series S. Quick resume is hands down the best feature of this console. Highly recommend this console for any gamer.

It came just as described, in box, brand new and high quality. Nothing to complain about. And trust me, I looked for something to complain about.

Having been an xbox fan since the original, I have to say I'm not disappointed. Since there aren't any "New" games built around this system, I can only comment on current games....specifically, Assassin's creed Valhalla. The greatest improvement in this game is the load times. On the One S, it seemed like forever when the system had to load from the start screen or between waypoints. Now, it's under 10 seconds. Transfering between games is lightening fast and the "quick resume" feature is fantastic. Graphically, things just seem to "pop" out of the screen more and the movement is much smoother. My only gripe with the system is the internal storage space. I have an external drive that connects but if you want to play a "series x" version of a game, it must be installed on the internal drive. You can store it externally, but it won't play until you transfer it to the internal. Of course, there is an add on external drive that acts as the internal, but it's ridiculously expensive so I wouldn't recommend it. Final gripe, it took a long time to redownload all of my content from the One S to the new system....I'm talking hours. Overall, I love the system and cannot wait until the new Forza comes out to really see what this system can do.
