The issue I had with the previous generation was the load times in the game. Just waiting and waiting. This system is what gaming is about. Great on speed and graphics. Hopefully this system, with the ability to play the games on so many devices, helps Microsoft get ahead in the "console war". My system runs cool and silent.

I am simply waiting for some next-generation games like Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042 to see the ful power of the system. The quick load times makes me wonder how I dealt with the loading times for games on the original Xbox One for the past 8 years.

This is the first XBOX system I have actually used since the 360, which I only used for Rock Band lol. I would still say the Playstation is better, I have the PS5 also. It has a lot of Quality of Life features that the XBOX Operation system does not. I guess though the main thing it is used for is playing games and it does that fine and better than any other XBOX. My wife and I co-op on seperate screens and I also have the Series S as a secondary system for this, You can reallllllly tell the graphical difference between the two systems when you are playing side by side, even in older games like Halo MCC, it looks way better on the Series X.

It’s a fancy version of a desktop. It’s a power box of joy that will keep you entertained and an electric bill that will have a parent questioning if you have friends or not. Definitely would invest in one if you can find one.

I bought it as a replacement with my Xbox One that stopped working recently. It’s doing everything that I need it to do. And it looks good. It fits in well with the rest of the tv console.

Closest thing to a PC

There’s a couple of bugs like games crashing but I’m sure that’ll be sorted out with updates over time. A UI change would’ve been nice to feel like it’s different from the Xbox One.
