I am very glad Best Buy has the best return policy for electronics. I felt like this didn't meet what I was looking for but it was horrible in performance.

I read the reviews, it seemed pretty good based off of the reviews. However, there were a lot of issues with the card I got. Didn't bother trying another one because ended ordering a GTX1060 6GB.

I actually bought this as a recommendation from a friend but ended up getting another recommendation due to my issues with them. The first one I bought would randomly black screen, then began doing it more and more often so I swapped it for another one. Got that one home and it didn't work at all. Frustrated that I'd gotten one from each of two different stores, I purchased a GeForce 960 instead for a bit more. The card did OK for the price point when it did work (The first one), but I felt like I wouldn't get one working with my system for some reason.

Do not waste your money on this video card. It is junk. Spend a little more for something better. Look on the internet at reviews and you'll see what I mean (wish I had done that). I bought this specifically to use for video editing and it is a dog and simply not up to the task. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it and can't return since I'm past the return window. TOTAL GARBAGE. I'm very unhappy with this purchase.

Found that it offered only a marginal improvement over my GTX 660 even with the latest drivers. It kept disconnecting and reconnecting with Windows 10. Returned it.

After researching the 460 based cards against the equivalent Nvidia card I chose to go with this model. I am using this in a newly built PC based on an AMD FX-8730 with Wraith cooler and this being AMD of course fits right in nicely. I have tested it in numerous games and benchmarks and I noticed some instability on 3DMarks DirectX 12 demo and especially in World of Tanks. World of Tanks was pretty much unplayable and I almost took the card back. However, after some digging I found it is due to the XFX card being overclocked and I just think the chip can't handle it. I used the built in AMD tools (which are excellent by the way) to down clock the GPU clock speed by 100Mz to just above its recommended factory setting. After that it has been stable and I have not had any issues in WOT or any other game. It probably lost a frame in performance but that is negligible and is well worth the stability. Pros - Runs just about everything at 60fps in HD resolution. This is not a card for 4K. If you need 4K output step up to the 480 - Very cool and quiet - Power efficient - Games that I used to play at lower settings I can now play fully maxed out in HD resolution and quite frankly it is like playing a new game. Love it. Cons - Again slight instability at overclocked speed, but runs fine at factory clock settings

    RX 460 = decent GPU but $150 is over-priced

AMD's Polaris tech found in the RX 480/470 is an impressive & necessary step forward for AMD. The Polaris 11 found in the 460 isn't too bad either, although it's priced all wrong in this particular product & is difficult to recommend given that nVidia's GTX 950 (which is about a year older & uses last-gen Maxwell tech) is still competitive & priced lower. Overall, the 460 is roughly equivalent to a GTX 950, although it falls behind slightly in various benchmarks & DX11 games. Still, at the right price the 460 can be a very competitive GPU for an entry-level budget. The main problem for AMD is that various GTX 950 GPUs can easily be found for ~$100 - $125 after rebate. Furthermore, what little advantage the 460 may theoretically have in DX12 games is sadly irrelevant as this card is far too slow to realistically be able to handle most new DX12 games that will be coming out in 2-3 yrs. The one solid advantage this MSI 460 has is it has 4GB RAM. But, the problem with that is RAM doesn't help frame-rates except at >1080p resolution + large textures...& realistically the Polaris 11 GPU is too weak to handle either. Given these facts, the 950 2GB is a better price/performance value at this time. If AMD were to drop the price of the 460 2GB to $99 & 4GB models like this to, say, $119 it'd be a much better buy. But as it's currently priced it's awfully difficult to justify the 460. Bottom line: for $150 you'd probably be better off spending another ~$25 for a GTX 960 or RX 380...or spending another ~$40 for a RX 470 - all of which will absolutely smoke the 460. At this price, the 460 is only recommended for very specific use-cases, such as low-power HTPCs or multi-monitor setups which are not intended to do anything other than light gaming.
