decent card

The good stuff.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this GPU in my Razer Chroma external GPU. It works great and was silent enough for me to never notice it. Build quality is decent, nothing to really get excited about. It has help up well over the past year.

Overheating, inconsistent frames, and crashing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had tried the 5700 XT to upgrade from a 1070 sc but was terribly disappointed in the card. Let me break it down for you: - Inconsistent crashing issues because of certain temps (around 74c), and sometimes because the usage of the card was above 70% usage. - Most of the time when playing a game the card would sit around 20% usage. This would cause my games FPS to go from ex: 120 fps to 50 real quick. Checked for any throttling issues, etc, but nothing worked and fixed the issues. Apparently this is a huge issue with these AMD graphics cards. - When crashing, it would cause my PC to literally reboot everytime.. sometimes out of no where (could be sitting on the desktop). I would say this is a "one time issue" with the card and I had received a bad card but honestly seeing forums after forums with this issue.. I will not recommend AMD graphics cards aside if they are looking for a budget PC and can handle the issues that come with it. AMD processors are pretty sick though.

Wouldnt reccomend
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card runs loud! and it is extremely hot! 110c on the junction temp and 90 on the cores. Constant crashing, and black screening. Card is soo loud! sounds like a jet engine under load. Gonna return and spend the extra 2080 super.

Decent card
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent card, but the Radeon drivers gave me issues running it on my LG OLED with HDR.

Love XFX cards, they are great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have owned numerous graphic cards and they have been all been XFX. Great company, great products and great service. Have always had a great experience with their cards, since I am stuck at home for awhile this will help a lot. Time for some VR, lol

Great card for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs up there with a 2070s .. but cheaper .. no issues with heat . Just change the power profile for the fans in the Radeon software and you're good to go. If you're on the fence between this or a 2070s .. just get this and save your money

DOA
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought mine online had it ready for pickup at the bestbuy and was excited to put it in my rig. No video upon install did the obvious replugged all the VGA 6PIN and 8PIN and reseated the card same issue. Ran hot and no video. Bestbuy was awesome refunded me and went with a MSI 2070 Super and I'm never looking back. Third AMD card I've bought and they have manufacturer issues despite solid benchmark advertising they have. Sorry AMD you let me down. Thanks again NVIDIA never once had nvidia issues. My two R9s I bought last time liquid cooled all were dead. So AMD sorry. Bestbuy has best prices. They are a few dollars cheaper than newegg. Amazon just creates thier own high prices. BESTBUY had this in stock even after black friday and will stick with best buy. Cant beat them.

Great card, but their software sucks!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card performed OK. You won't get a lot of overclocking headroom. It's a pretty large card, so small builds is out of the picture. AMD's software really sucks, that's why I returned it and went with NVIDIA. You can never go wrong with NVIDIA. The extra money you spend is well worth the ease and stability of their software.

ABSOLUTE BEAST
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Card is an absolute beast I get well over 120 FPS on all my shooter games and well over 90fps on newer open world games. I paired it up with a high end monitor and man I can’t be happier with the results.

Amazing hardware. Garbage drivers.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card had so many green screen crashes and black screens with the latest drivers, even rolled back the drivers. Still would not play games without crashing. Card runs super hot. Purchase the 2070 super instead, i have had no issues with my 2070 super!!

The best card for the price on the market.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card is amazing especially when the game is utilizing dx12 or Vulcan. Frame rates are very high and the visual quality is excellent. It's a noticable upgrade over the gtx 1070 and it's very good looking also.

4k here we come
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure what to say. I have never had a discrete graphics card before. This was the highest end model I could find. Now nothing exist. But I have enjoyed using the Radeon software.

Good GPU
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the first time I built a PC. I think this met my expectations. I have no complaints. I thought it was a little pricy but again this was the first graphics card I've purchased.

Big sad, failed. annoying black screen problems
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a lot of testing narrowed down the 1-2 second black screen random crashes down to the video card on our build. Occasionally full on crashes occured too. Driver's etc all up to date, and tried several recent releases too with no success. Switching to onboard video it all went away. Replaced with a Nvidia card of similar price and not looking back. No issues now. This card also ran hotter and imo, just not quite as good as the competition. Software also sometimes crashed on it's own without crashing system and their rewards setup was a pain too. Sad it failed but in the end I think we're better off. BB saves with easy return/exchange policy.
