Great card and excellent value
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No fancy gimmicks and lights, just a straight up excellent 5700 xt with a decent cooler. I luckily have not experienced any issues with my 5700 xt, as it is documented to have unstable drivers and not work well with certain games. With that there are a few things I did to assure things are running with this card that all people buying gpu's should do: 1. Use a free program called DDU to clean the old drivers 2. Update the bios of your motherboard. I had issues with older boards with newer cards, and updating this bios is essential in solving my problem. 3. Check Temps of the gpu asap. If your card goes over 80c you have a bad one and will black screen most likely. My card went to 75c on a full load and no issues here. So far my card has been running well and no issues so far.

Bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it played it was a great car that had high fps but the card ran hot and loud and when I was playing it crashed in almost every game about 30 minutes in and I tried everything to fix it with no prevail and ended up returning it to buy a 2070 super.

Works great, but drivers...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This could change, but the drivers! Holy hell, it reminds me of NVidia back when NVidia made the world's worst drivers... After a week of trying newest, older and various releases: For me it was a chipset update, new drivers and the 2nd most recent drivers. From there rock-solid. But it shouldn't be this hard to get a stable game running. It looks great on my older ASUS b350 Prime.

Good video card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It gave me 100 FPS on 1080p for Call of DUTY. I returned the video card my PC will run hot even though i have (5) 120mm cooling fans running. Had to return it so it did not burn up my motherboard or CPU.

Not Worth the effort...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this card even though it has mixed reviews. Loved the way it looks, but soon after loading into games the problems started. Drivers SUCK tons of issues. sound would stutter like crazy, but the game didnt miss a lick. then it got hot because the fans dont kick on without manually turning them on and setting the fan curve. Destiny 2 started tearing and stuttering. the GTX 1060 6GB I was upgrading from ran the game better! tons of online reasearch to try and fix the problems. even after i stopped the stutering there was still tearing. frustrated i returned the card and bought an Nvidia card. if you want to tinker around for awhile and wait for better drivers this card isnt bad. great looking and solid build quality. just doesnt work. TLDR: Be prepared to tinker with settings and wait for better drivers. low framerates, runs hot, and pain to fix.

Great GPU runs a bit loud
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great GPU. Chews though Apex Legends easy on 1080p. Also runs Rainbow Six Siege pretty well. Extremely quite on idle and running non intensive games like Tekken or Street Fighter. One complaint I do have is that it does get a bit loud especially whenever I run a game using my 144hz monitor but thats ok.

1 Month in and Super happy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After receiving a 2070 dead on arrival, I decided to try out another, similarly priced (albeit less expensive) card, and this one has been great so far. I only use a 1080p monitor, but I run some intensive games, PUBG, Overwatch, BF1, BF5, Arma, Project Cars, and a few other heavy games, all on ultra, or near ultra settings, depending on my own tastes (some games are honestly better with foliage and whatnot turned down so you can see the opposing players more easily). So far, I love it. Is it a 2080 super? No, no it's not. But it is a great upper-mid range card, and will suit anyone just fine!

Great card, not too hot or loud.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this card for 499.99 in January 2021. So far I am very happy with it and it is a great upgrade from my RX 480 4GB. Coupled with a Ryzen 5 5600X I can play BF5 at 1440p and get the full 144hz with no issues. I have the Rosewill Thor v2 case and the card operates at 75-80°C under load with the standard fan profile in the AMD software. The fan noise is tolerable under load and when not under load they are off and completely silent. Total power draw is 180W using standard power limiter setting. Overall this is is a great card, the biggest downside is the current price. Had I got it when it was in the 300-400 range then I think it would be fantastic value.

Outstanding!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially had issues with the fan curves, Fans would not turn on until fully hot. As a result of this, I was uncertain if I would hang on to the card. I did some research and found that you need to update the bios. I downloaded the bios from the XFX website. This alone did the trick and completely fixed all of my heating issues. Under full load, my card doesn't get over 77 C, and under normal operating temperatures, 55 C. It's been going on two weeks strong since the bios update and not a single issue. I'm now enjoying the heck out of this card! Update your bios, it worked for me.

My 1 year exp with XFXs card!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this product for over a year now and as long as its paired with the proper components, youll be playing games on ultra getting 140+ FPS in 1440p! Thats not all, run older games like Dead Space 3 or Divinity Original Sin 2 and run it in 4k! This card isnt specially a 4k card, but boy can it deliver on the picture! Anyone looking to upgrade from a GTX model or RX model, this is you pick. This card does requires at the minimum, a 750w PSU as well as a motherboard supporting PCI 4.0. I nabbed the x570 Tachi with 32g of ram and a R9 3900x. This mash up is a powerhouse.

Price for Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card that benches in the top 10% of 5700XT's at the lowest price. XFX logo lights up which is nice as well. Disregard Drivers problems other reviews may contain as they were updated in 12/19 and 01/20.

Great Video Card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This video card seems to be the best bang for the buck, right now, it's not quite as fast as the 2080 Super although with Pci Express 4.0 is more efficient and the cost makes it the obvious choice

Beautiful Card but that’s about it
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first got the 5700 and it performed really really well but I was having some driver issues so I got the 5700XT and was blown away by how well and how quiet it performed I’m talking a consistent 100+ frames on 1080p gaming with pretty high settings. But that’s only when the drivers aren’t shutting down my computer or crashing a game. :/

Mid tier price with high end performance!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little skeptical about purchasing at first as every build I have done is Intel and Nvidia. I’m glad I gave AMD a shot, benchmarks for the price intel and nvidia can’t touch. My latest build, Ryzen 3600, Asus x570-plus and this graphic card are really impressive for a $1500 investment. Some people report issues with AMD drivers, I would suppose some of those that complain never built a rig before. Oh yea make sure if your thinking about this card you have plenty of room, power and fans/cooling options.

Avoid at all costs
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this due to the seemingly great reviews on multiple sites from others - but this was a massive mistake (that I was ironically warned about). Upon installation (a clean install) the card immediately caused my PC to BSOD. I installed all the new drivers and went through the process - again, another BSOD. So I cleared the drivers and did a fresh reinstall once more - another BSOD, but now I could not even log in to my computer. The drivers literally corrupted my OS Win10 and I was unable to do anything. As I am trying to get things up and running again, the card randomly started generating an insane amount of heat and the fans went into full 100% blow; mind you I was just booting the PC at this time, there was NOTHING under load because I could not even fully boot my PC. So I remove the GPU and put my old GPU in instead and ran into the fact that it appears this XFX had burned out one of my PIC slots. That's right! It had done permanent damage to my motherboard, but thankfully I have another slot. I used the other PCI slot, used my old GPU (which is Nvidia by the way), and reinstalled Win10. This took me roughly 4 hours of time to just get my PC running again! As mentioned, I was warned about AMD cards and told that the drivers are a mess. I even read various articles that the AMD cards have issues with M.2 and using a PCI 4.0 - which I have. I should have never made this purchase and XFX has not only robbed me of time, but their faulty product has caused damage to my motherboard, which is only a couple months old. I love my AMD 3700X processor, but they are simply not ready for the GPU market with such poor hardware AND software. Avoid this card at all costs, I do not care what the other reviews are stating, there is something seriously wrong with this card (do your research and you will find many articles and forums calling out exactly what happened to me) and I know that I will not be considered AMD for a GPU anytime soon.

Best Bang for Buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute beast of a card that’s $100 cheaper and it’s 2070 super counterpart. No fancy LEDs aside from the one that lights up XFX logo. Plays everything in 1440p without a hitch.
