Decent mid range card

I also needed a GPU that didn't break the bank. My wife likes the look, so happy wife, happy life. It's not the best, but when on sale like it is now. I would buy again.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently have an Asus Nvidia 960 2gb so I figured this would be a decent priced upgrade and for the benchmark difference of 9% under a 1660 I decided to go with the rx580, however, upon installing drivers and testing out the gaming fps I was consistently pulling 30-40 frames LOWER than my 960 is getting. On my 960 I was running Minecraft on all high at 95-144 frames consistently, while the 580 ran at 46-120 frames, CSGO ran almost 100 frames lower than my 960 (114 vs 220fps) for $200 after the replacement plan there was no way I was going to keep this card for lower performance. Not to mention after testing the fps for under one hour on low-intensity games this card was hotter than my 960 has ever gotten.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
