Customers are saying
Customers value the AMD Radeon RX 580 GTS Black Edition 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card for its strong performance, especially at 1080p resolution, and its competitive price. Many appreciate the ease of installation and the generally quiet operation, although some users noted higher than expected temperatures and a larger-than-anticipated size. Positive feedback also highlights the high frame rates achieved in gaming. However, a few users mentioned higher-than-expected power consumption.

Crashing dud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks good and well reviewed but I couldn't get it stable enough to keep. Any kind of load on the GPU from gaming would crash the whole system. PSU is ample enough with a Seasonic 850 Gold. Rest of system is an i5, 16GB Ram, SSD boot and game drive. My older Nvidia GTX card, which actually consumes more power than perfectly and is now back in the rig.

Unstable card
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think I was not lucky. The card I got didn't post. I had to restart the machine 20 times until one time it could post. Also it was not stable even after that and had lots of crashing issue. I returned the card after 2 days and was not able to find any replacement because of chip shortages.

WOW!!!! not the game WOW
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.okay so i bought this for a new system i was building. My psu is 650 watts so got good juice to run this card. After month and half, it died. WOW!!! $300 card which died so fast. I didn't even use it everyday. Maybe 6 hours in a week so about 1hr a day, maybe. While playing CODMW2 (almost 10 years old game), pc turned off. I thought maybe over heated so I didn't turn it back on till next week. Started playing again after a week, pc turned off again. Waited for 30 minutes and tried again, pc didn't turn back on. I thought the MB is fried. I was going to open an ticket with MB company but i didn't. I took the card out and turned on the pc and it worked. Installed the card in different pc which was working before the gpu, and it didn't work. Bad, bad, badbadbad GPU. I sent it for warranty repair and had to pay $15 to ship it. The warranty is refurbishment gpu that i'm getting back. Another WOW! My bad luck? Hopefully i'll win the Mega tonight worth $650 million dollars and buy a better GPU.

Mediocre graphics card
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Will handle small games with but it kept crashing for me, random black screens that I wasn't able to resolve after extensive troubleshooting. I decided to return it and spend a little more on a more expensive card, which now I have NO issues with! (rtx2070) I guess you get what you pay for?.

Not really sure what this card is used for.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this card to hold me over until the 5700xt came out. It did not. I feel I over paid for a sub par card. I didn't hold up in the minimum settings of popular games. I gave me error in processing anything video editing related.

Random display disconnects.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My display randomly poses signal. Been looking for a fix online but nothing seems to help. This issue is common with these cards from what I've been reading.

Ran way too hot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this in exchange for an out of stock replacement for my evga 1060 6gb. On my evga, temps would run at 35c/68 high load, this card runs 58/94 high load. Had to take off side panel to cool comp while using.

Died at day 35
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card seemed to work, but I did not stress it for the first month. Minecraft was the only thing anyone had played on it. On day 35 I final sat down to play Fortnite. A few hours in the PC just shut down and then would not power on. Started to debug and the first thing I removed was this card. System powered right back up. Put the card back in and the system will not power on. When I say won't power on, I mean no LEDs light up. Fans don't start. Nothing. Just dead. Unfortunately, since it was past the 30 days, Best Buy in Nashua offed to give me the phone number to XFX so I could RMA it with them. Thanks but I can google that too. Buy a brand that may be more reliable then XFX.

AMD software is terrible
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the card is good, AMD driver and Radeon software are really terrible. Very difficult to install and often caused crash or dead loop. Particularly when you try to install multiple cards.

Good for a Brick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this card twice now. First time I gave it away to a friend cause I didn't like the performance I was getting with my AMD 8350. Went to an Nvidia 1050Ti for a bit. Sold that computer and got a z620 workstation with 830W PSU and had this card in it for about 6 months and it popped a cap on the video card and now I have a piece of junk to throw away. Def not getting another AMD card as been so unhappy with them. My 1060 laptop plays games better and with less issues that this card gave me. I also only get about 20% better FPS in Overwatch over a 960GTX 2GB card. These are bargin basement cards and should be expected to work as such, if you want reliable, go Nvidia.

Good product with one problem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the RX580 GTS because it was a good price, and I needed to upgrade my older Nvidia 970 graphics card. The installation went fine, and the software downloaded properly; however the card was not compatible with Witcher 3 software.

Misleading gpu core clock
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gpu core clock is 1150 out of the box not 1405/1425 as stated. It comes with a piece of paper on how to manually overclock your gpu using amd wattman. I followed the instuctions to the t. Gpu began to have issues and the oc was not stable at its advertised speed. Pushing the power limit of the gpu to +50% did not fix the issue, it would still black screen. Different ports differnt cables same issue. Slap in my old gpu no problems. I bought this card because it was suppose to be oc out of the box, it is not. Dont waste your time and money. Be aware you have to hit the silicon lottery to achieve its 1425 speed; despite advertised speeds on the gpu stating otherwise

they have crap drivers
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i have windows 10 ryzen 5 3600x asus x570-p motherboard and installed 2 of these in crossfire and that is the only option that works on the card even with all the bells and whistles turned off it goes black for several sec every 20-30 mins there only fix is to turn everything off and it still turns black these cards are crap dont bother unless your using for crypto mining and if you leave the options on it freezes and turns the screen green ive emailed amd and xfx no responce. and you cant leave stock fan setting on if the fans turn off or on it goes black then too.

Doesn’t Work
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this card. It is worthless and a complete waste of money. It crashes constantly and doesn’t work despite all trouble shooting steps from the manufacturer as well as AMD. Manufacturer customer service is horrendous. I don’t do reviews but the fact that this was my first build and this happens, is kind of disappointing.
