Many appreciate the ease of installation and the generally quiet operation, although some users noted higher than expected temperatures and a larger-than-anticipated size. Terrible card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card I thought was a good deal but I was wrong. Bought the card and within 3 weeks it failed. I went to Best Buy for a refund and they would not give it to me and told me to contact XFX. I contacted them and they said to send mine in and they will replace. 2 weeks later I got it back and it worked fine until today. I want a refund for this thing but I doubt I will receive it. Stuck in a forever loop of spending 30 bucks to ship back to XfX for a refurb one. STAY AWAY

Black Screens Galore
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card was great for the first 4 months, but then I started getting black screens which would require a hard reboot to get displays back. I cannot have my pc on for more than 20-30 mins before this happens...and that is with NO LOAD. With game running it takes 1-2 minutes before crashing. After searching through every support article I could find and attempting all the "fixes", I finally gave up and went back to a 10 year old gpu.

buy something else
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dont buy the XFX rx 580. Overall the 580 performs great, but as for the GPU itself is not up to par. this is the first GPU ive ever purchased. anytime its under load from a game, such as Resident Evil 2 (mainly cutscenes) or from either the pc crashes and i get the Wattman popup saying Radeon had an unexpected failure, or my display loses signal like the hdmi cable is getting uplugged over and over again. i would return if i was still inside my return period.

Two Bad Cards
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this while on sale, worked great for about 4 days until my card completely died. No big deal, these things happen, brought it back to best buy and it was exchanged for another card. With my second card I had constant screen flickering. After spending 3 days troubleshooting, I realized that this card had defective display ports. At this point I returned the card and went for a GTX 1660 TI, do yourself a favor and go Nvidia.

Defective card.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not open the box until a few weeks ago. At first seemed to be ok but then during a game the video just went crazy. Wrong colors, things shooting across the screen. It appears the card is overheating but the room was only in the 70 f and the case cover was off. Contacted XFX weeks ago no response. Looks like a $200.00 loss. Purchased another card (non radeon) no problems at all.

Poor Performance Gpu from Day One
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this product for nearly a year now and not once have I been satisfied with its performance, my games constantly crash and says I need to update the gpu and I have to manually turn on the fans when I turn on my pc, I constantly have to download and repair my drivers because of my pc resetting because of this gpu.

Beware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the best buy web site has this listed as working with Windows, it does not work with Windows 8. Just 7 and 10. Not 8 or 8.anything. Best buy also will not give a refund if after the 15 day period, even with a pandemic raging in the community and an incorrect web site listing. I found out the hard way and now have a $250.00 paperweight. More like Worst Buy.

Died in 20 days
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card worked as advertised for 20 days. Bestbuy has a 15 day return policy period. It died February 2 and I was instructed to deal with xfx so I did. After going through the rma qualification process I then had the pleasure of paying $20 to ship it. I still don't have it back but they tell me Fedx has it. It is now March 4th. I would rank this process lower than 1 if I could.

Horrible Manufacturing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card whined with any load and all information provided looked more like photo copied trash. Returned (thank you bestbuy) immediately went with a msi 580 8gig and as of now will not consider xfx for anything.

Stick too Nvidia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried to build an all AMD PC build with this card but this GPU would constantly lose signal when playing any games image would go in and out . Looking online this was a common issue and no real fix . Spend the extra $ on Nvidia. I replaced it temporarily with a Quadro K220 which is older than 5years old and it work flawlessly on this pc build .

Everything you need for Simple 1080P Gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been waiting to upgrade my backup system from a AMD HD7870XT for a while now, With Rewards Points I was able to take this GPU Home for a little over $200, It easily uses LESS Power than the HD7870XT it replaced while getting significantly better Performance. 8GB of VRAM is Enough to Run most Modern Games on High/Highest Detail Levels. 2300+ Shaders @ 1400+MHz is enough Power to render most games at 1080P. The Fans are Super Quiet, (almost too quiet), and idle when not gaming, which saves power/wear. Gaming on a 1080P Screen Doesnt Need a $999 Titan X, Save some money.. you wont notice the difference except that extra $700 to spend elsewhere
