This is a Solid GPU for 1080p and 1440p gaming. I am currently running fallout 4 in 1440p high settings at 70fps.

Even with my stock dual Xeon 2.4GHz quad processors and slower SATA SSD, this card made a HUGE difference! Video editing in Premiere, Photoshop filters were so much faster and smoother. I could even play Shadow of the Tomb Raider with high settings in Mojave! Of course no boot screen, but works great once you get to the login screen!

I'll preface this by saying i'm using my 12 year old rig from college with an old amd phenom T1100 AND this is my first ever radeon video card. I decided to try upgrading my graphics card to help breath new life into my aging machine and to my surprise it worked great. This card has been able to handle games like Civ 6, 7 days to die, doom, frost punk, ect without any major hiccups. For the price i'm not disappointed at all.

Great alternative gpu!! Or can be a first pick! Due to the current situation with the house being overpriced by resellers it’s hard to find a good one to replace. This is def a top pick. For work and for great gaming, allowing up to 90frames depending on the game at high settings. No ray tracing but for the price, not a big deal.

Great card for the price! Some have said it runs a bit hot, but I've found it to be perfectly fine with decent airflow (aka 2 intake fans on front, 2 exhaust fans in back and top). Really love the carbon fiber look, and the metal backplate is also pretty cool, which is nice, because that's the part you actually see when it's in the PC. Overall, just a really well-made card.

The XFX - AMD Radeon RX 580 GTS Black Edition 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card has been an astounding work horse. I purchased it on 12/19/2020 and it has been running every since,(today's date 2/11/2022, (except when it was stopped for cleaning) I wish more could be found at the price I payed for this one.

(As of 5/2020) This card holds up very well. If you wanna see benchmarking, just type in "RX 580 ____" and insert the game title in the blank space on Youtube. I'm averaging 50 FPS with little to no dips with Shadow of the Tomb Raider on Ultra settings. (Paired with a Ryzen 5 2600 and 16 gigs RAM). Really great performance for a 2017 card!

Other than making sure you have the appropriate power supply, this card installs easily and is a powerhouse!
