Customers admire the SPEEDSTER MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 7800XT for its impressive performance, often compared to higher-end cards, and the smooth frame rates it delivers, especially with features like Resize Bar enabled. The card's effective cooling system keeps noise levels down, contributing to a quiet user experience, and many appreciate its easy installation process. Some users find its size and weight to be drawbacks, and note that ray tracing capabilities may not be its strongest suit.

Paired this with a AMD 7800X3D and a AsRock B650M PG Riptide and noticed the difference in every game! Frames are high on 1440p on almost every game! First time with a AMD card. I would recommend measuring your case size as this graphic card is HUGE so had to adjust a fan from the front chassis to the top so graphic card can fit.

This probably isn't exactly the type of 5 star review you expect to see on a product but actually mine didn't ever work for me. Neither did I should say. I bought one when it went on sale and got home and tried to pop it into my pc which formerly had a 7700xt. Had the vga debug light on my motherboard and couldn't ever get it to boot. Used my 7700xt, my friend's 6650xt, and my younger brother's 6600 to test and all three worked just fine. Return exchanged for the only other one my local best buy had in stock and had the same issue. Ended up returning that one too after ordering one from amazon and confirming that it worked just fine. After using it for 2ish months I can say the 7800xt is a great card and it is in no way best buy's fault that they happened to have two duds. If you're considering this card know that it's pretty unlikely to happen across a dead one in the wild, but don't be afraid to return exchange if it doesn't work.

Amazing performance upgrade from my Nvidia 3060 12 GB. AMD products may not have as good Ray Tracing, but really, that isn't as important as the frame rate and rasterization.

Rus excellent, not top-tier but high level card, runs pretty cool w/ Corsair Airflow setup, never crashes, very quiet, I had one replaced for RMA and XFX replaced without issue I(ultimately it was PSU, not GPU issue). Great card, very fast. Godo value.

Really nice card. I HATE the NVIDIA stock shortages and price cuts. I feel like I get the same performance as the NVIDIA counterparts for half the price. Unless you're buying the absolute best of the best every time a new gen drops, just go with the tried and true AMD and Intel chipset combo. You'll thank me later.

I liked this. Definitely for high 4k and 2K Ultra settings. Quiet and cold. It has a funny feature; it's so powerful that it won't use the fans until you do something worth the GPU power. I was paying for Diablo 2 remaster, and the GPU didn't need to use the fans fully, but playing cyberpunk all the fans at max, just a fun feature.

7800 XT Proves That Nvidia Is Greedy

The 7800 XT is the best price per proformance card on the market right now. I am so happy with this card and am so happy to have moved away from Nvidia.

Excellent GPU for the price. I've been a big fan of AMD graphics cards since I purchased my first 570 years ago. I further enjoyed the 5700XT chipset not necessarily the cooling from some manufacturers namely MSI. However, the 7800XT from XFX is quiet (fans barely spin and when they do my case fans are louder). Framerates in various games are excellent. Only thing I will recommend is completely uninstall all of your old video card drivers and reinstall the new ones cleanly when swapping to the card. I found that ended up fixing any driver issues and keep to either the driver only or minimal install for AMD Adrenalin. I again found that fixed almost all issues.

First time buying an AMD as I was skeptic. I have a 4070 ti and this blows it out of the water (slightly) but I'm not obsessed woth ray tracing
The frame generation is quality and doesnt degrade the image quality. I did not know amd had the software to minipulate the image and framerate in such a way. This was for my gaming rig, I may step it up with the 7900xtx for my triple screen sim racing rig. The 4070 ti is in that for now however, AMD has covered all bases and more so I might switch over when the time comes. For now I will enjoy the 7800xt for my casual gaming.

I from a 2070 super to this card. I have never seen the appeal of Ray tracing, in my opinion it adds minimal graphical value in relation to the performance drain it causes.
This card plays all modern and slightly older games at 3440x1440 with stable 100 to 160 frames (160 is the g-sync/free sync fps for my monitor) and can power my second monitor simultaneously, a 4k 55 in tv for secondary YouTube videos and internet articles for both work and play. I highly recommend it for those who aren't interested in paying the ridiculous and extortionary prices for a Nvidia card.

It can run Final Fantasy XIV at 165 fps at 2K resolution. That's what I was mainly concerned with. On more intense games, the slowest it gets is still buttery smooth. There are faster cards out there, but you'd have to spend the price of like 2 or 3 of these to get a noticeable difference.

Great card for the price. I was hesitant moving to AMD from NVIDIA but I have an old i7 9k paird with this (Ik bottle neck) but it pushes games at high/ultra 2k 144hz+. I finished GOW at 2k high settings with an average of 120/165hz. If you’re on a budget this is definitely the card to get. No contest

Card is alot bigger than I thought. Be weary of that to make sure itll fit in your case. Other than that, its a amazing middle ground card. Can pretty much run any game in high framerates at 1080p, and some at 1440p. All around solid card, would recommend.

I upgraded from a 3060ti to this specifically for Star Citizen. Card runs great, it's huge so make sure your case can fit it and consider getting a GPU sag-bracket for it. On average my frames doubled, and I am no longer limited by the 8GB of VRAM that my old card had. Raytracing and DLSS aside, this is a good match for a 3090 at half the cost.
