Our old receiver was dying, until we had this one installed, did not realize just how bad the sound was from our old 13 year old Sony receiver. Very happy with this product

I rely enjoy this receiver, still learning new things I can do with the receiver, TV is sounding great, Blu-ray is great with all the surround sound in those action movies, and I also enjoy listening to Pandora.

I had a Yamaha receiver prior to this one. I thought I would like a little more power. WOW, what a difference. It has lots of punch and clean sound. I also like the software interface,

This baby right here has apps you can use as a remote. Network ready Bluetooth 4K ready Just to name a few of the goodys this receiver has to offer. You can run multiple rooms off this receiver if you wanted multi room music. I have yet to get the baby cranked more than half way. WORTH THE MONEY. Don't settle for the mod model or lower model.

Powerful and has all the features I was looking for. Blu tooth and wifi capable. When blu tooth is selected on your phone the unit turns on automatically which is great. 1050w is a great start for anyone and this receiver has tons of features for you to play with. Plenty of HDMI ports including one that will display on screen controls for the unit. Also, never gets too hot which is small but may be important for some.

I bought this as replacement for an old receiver that died. This one has all the bells and whistles even more than I use or need. It produces a great range of sound and with much more volume than I need. I run my satellite, blue ray, and apple TV through it and all the sound is great. It even lowers volume of commercials although I do not know how. I was missing a lot of sound. I am very happy with this receiver.

Upgraded from an older model in order to have the newer HDMI protocols supported. Instructions are very well written for either a quick setup or a deep dive in. One of the reasons for purchase was the quick configuration buttons on the front & controller for TV, BluRay, Web & Radio. Once setup my wife only has to push the one button and everything turns on and is connected the way it needs to be. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that Apple AirPlay is supported for audio only and not video.

Able to run two separate zones--one with tv other with bluetooth device. Allows for easy control by remote or smart phone. Lots of input options.

Sound quality is better than my old onkyo. Love that I can have a low profile thumb drive in it for all my songs. Only reason for 4 stars is the pop up menu for small audio adjustments is hard to figure out, like if I want to boost the center channel volume (some tv shows dialog comes in weak and cant hear conversation over the background, onkyo was the same way) only had it for a few weeks so cant vouch for the longevity of it but all in all a great receiver.

Really happy with quality of the receiver, I did read reviews and I am glad I purchased this receiver. Like the two zone capability .

Easy set up, does what it says it does. Makes switching through components really simple. Love the apple air play!

Excellent unit! Easy to use and the wifi is great. This allows me to utilize internet radio with quality.

Replaced an older receiver that did not have any HDMI ports. This one sounds great and has all of the latest and greatest features. The smartphone app was pretty nice when it was working, but I have been having problems getting the app to work lately. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Sounds great, just you can't watch tv and play music at the same time without adding another input

I've had this reciever for over a year and it has been great. Sound is good. It is easy to set up. The musicast app control works good. It would be nice if you could control it from google home, but maybe they'll add that functionality in the future

Bought this as a replacement for an Onkyo receiver. The sound quality is great. I have a Samsung 4K tv, and the picture was not very good with the Onkyo receiver. It is now fantastic with the Yamha which has 4K upscaling. I am now really seeing the benefit of the 4K tv.
