The controller is still confusing and the instructions are crap. If call for help was put on hold. If you hoped for one controller, think again. Easy hookups With 5 HDMI cables brought separate. May feel more positive in future. Hopefully this item will last years. Until better comes on market.

Great entry level receiver. Is exactly what I was expecting. Solid sound and options.

This is my third Yamaha RX receiver and it continues confirmation that I made the right choice. With three of these and Musiccast, I can stream Spotify and other music from my phone or computers to any combination of rooms. Works very well with my Cox Cable Contour remote.

Completely satisfied with purchase as open-box and safes lots of money, open-box are categories in different categories like Excellent-Certified, Excellent, Satisfactory, Fair or it could be A, B or C categories, ask the category type before you purchase any item.

Reqppced our Sonybreceiver that was not doing 4K pass through with HDR Plugged this one in and was perfect out of box Online documents for setting up are more intuitive then the one you get in the box so make sure you download the version on Yamaha’s website

Major upgrade from my previous Yamaha AV. This unit passes through 4K signals from my Roku Ultra and Samsung UHD Blu-Ray without any compatibility issues to my 70” Vizio circa 2016 tv. Surround sound is just the added bonus to the crystal clear video.

Purchased this receiver to run outdoor speakers, it is very simple to hook up and I like the ease of changing inputs from TV, radio and Bluetooth has awesome range, probably 75’ or so. I took the electronic guys advice on this one and the system doesn’t disappoint.

I set it up myself and I have no real electronics knowledge. Everything seem to be connected properly except I couldn’t get the TV to play. On the back of the machine it says to plug-in a DVD device. Then I had to call for help. Actually, I was supposed to plug the TV into the DVD opening. It is working fine now.

This was definitely a bargain buy and for the amount of movies i watch a pleasure to use. The controls take a little getting used to and the power may not be explosive but with a good subwoofer it's fine. Over all a good receiver.

Works well as a replacement for my old Yamaha system.

This is an excellent receiver. I haven't had any issues except an occasional pink screen when starting a movie. Stopping and restarting the movie fixes the color. I love the Wi-Fi remote and Music3ast capabilities.

The sound this thing produces is awesome. No issues with connectivity. The casting/streaming systems on other receivers may be better (like on Onkyo) but I prefer Yamaha for the sound, clean power, and punch it has. I love it

Have always liked Yamaha products. Music cast works great to either send the music I am listening to on another to this, or separate music on each. No handshake issues like I had with my Pioneer when in my AV system switching between devices.
