great system we are in love with it sounds and works great

It was easy to set up. Met my needs at a affordable price.

I love it. I'm able to play directly from my 100' of MP3 files directly from my computer. It makes my massive CD collection obsolete. It's easy and problem free.

This is the third Yamaha receiver i've gotten from Best Buy in a 45 day run. The first one wouldn't connect my receiver to my Tv using an ARC cable. I returned the first on and spent another $100 thinking it would be better, same result. Took that one back and looked for another model but there was nothing in my price range so they gave me the same model again. Over the years I've spent a ton of money with Best Buy, they were my go to store. I was looking for a little help on this problem but didn't get the time of day. Thinking maybe my ARC cable was the problem so I ordered an expensive one from a specialty shop, same problem!

if i had to nitpick, the only negative i can find on this receiver is that with some inputs, you can not see the on screen display. when wanting to change sound presets and your receive is in a cabinet make sit tough to know where your at. All in all great receiver!

I replaced my previous Yamaha receiver (purchased in 2007) with this A/V Home Theater Receiver. Easy to set up, and I enjoy its newer features (Bluetooth connection, more HDMI plugs, simpler remote, etc.).

This serves me as the foundation for my home entertainment needs. Excellent reliability is always expected from Yamaha items I have been purchasing for more than 40 years. Best Buy's pricing can't be beat.

Our old receiver could not provide all of the sound qualities that our new 75" Samsung 4K TV offers. Had Geek Squad hook it up and our old surround sound speakers sound better than they did with our old setup.

could have cobbled together old equipment, but the app coupled with all the on board options for different media make this a great choice. Yes it is expensive, but worth it.

I purchased this receiver to tie my TV, Speakers, Xbox and cable into one unit. It works great and is a welcome addition to my home theater.

Great for 4 speaker system.....My similar Yamaha is 30 plus years old and gets a little warm after a couple hours of use. The new one does not, yet it can only handle two sets of speakers.

I had a minor snaffu setting it up, unclear if it was the TV, the receiver, or just me. Anyway, it works great so far. I’ve got some very nice Klipsch speakers attached to it and they’ll go way louder than we will even push them to with it.

Having had two previous AV receivers, I can honestly say that this Yamaha has great sound and features found in the more high-end products. A great value for the money.

Ever Since I got the Entertainment system for my outside speakers, I've been using more and more than when I had my old one. I love the fact you can control the volume and the input through your phone.

Awesome power and convenience. I run my out door speakers and love the clear powerful sound. The ability to run it all through my cell makes it that much better.

It is smaller than our previous Yamaha. it fits better in a cabinet. Works just as well as our older one. We remodeled our bedroom so we needed a smaller receiver to fit our built in Cabinet

This Yamaha makes it easy to sync all your electronic needs. Great for the 4k formats and 4K Blu-ray ready! Music Cast syncs up in seconds, enjoying all my music off the web. I love it!

Struggling to set up the Bluetooth but otherwise very happy with this receiver. Lots of functions including AM/FM and Bluetooth. Also has a AUX port which is nice.

I replaced a previous Yamaha AV receiver with this one and am very pleased. I like the hardwired network capability, and the HDMI switching works MUCH better than the old unit. I have a DVD, Cable DVR, and 4K Apple TV hooked up and it moves between them in a breese.

I purchased this receiver to replace my 25+ year old Denon. I needed something with HDMI and would enable my Roku hookup. I’m hoping it will allow me to use a wireless speaker outside. I’m in the process of getting this in place.
