Lost the sound and never got it back. Returned to Best Buy Geek Squad for analysis. Parts for repair unavailable thereby setting a return and partial credit into motion for another AVR.

Issue I have is it turns on when you turn the tv on with just the tv speakers. I have to turn the receiver off a couple of times before I can just listen to the tv speakers.

Can’t get it to sound as good as my old Onkyo.

Tried and tried to get it to go to BD/DVD when I select it. Won’t connect to my Logitech remote. Only sounds fairly good at 5ch. stereo. Probably returning it this weekend. Going back to Onkyo.

Not a product for a nontechie

It requires an app and a higher than average knowledge of the technology. Once it is installed it has a lot of features .... some that need help with accessing.

Didn’t play nice with my older Samsung TV.

Don’t like loosing two back channels on “main” when “B” speakers are used. Yamaha tech support didn’t respond to my emails for several days. Returned the unit for a Denon.

Did not meet my expectations

If you connect a zone b, you can only run a 3.1 zone b which was not my intention and so I was forced to return this unit and purchased a Yamaha 485 which allowed me to run 7,1 zone a and an independent zone b to my amplifier which feeds multiple rooms and outside the house speakers. Love that unit.
