Onkyo Customer Service was terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t write negative reviews, but... I purchased a Onkyo TR NR 676 reciever and it completely shut down two months after the warranty expired. After numerous calls and then emails (Which were never answered) asking them to reconsider and stand by their product, three weeks later after lots of follow up by me, they said “it’s out of warranty, sorry”. The unit, Even when working, was constantly running very hot (which seems to be a consistent issue). I will never purchase an Onkyo or Pioneer product again. More because of the lack of customer service‘s follow up than anything else. Buyer beware. Terrible customer service and they don’t stand by their products.
