Fantastic Receiver for the price point it comes in at. Has Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity along with their own Yamaha connect wireless speaker tech. I have no complaints so far, it has a lot of upgrades to channel settings and speaker control. Has a lot of settings that can be made personal to your liking.

This stereo is very good for the price. I like the sound quality and it was easy to set up.

Great piece of hardware. Poor documentation. The online owners manual (150 pp.) is not printer friendly. The sound is great once you figure out how to turn it on. I have not yet been able to get the TV to play through the receiver without a lot of trial and error with the controls. Have not been able to procure help as the wait time has exceeded my patience.

Bought this receiver to replace my 15 yr old Bose. It fits in with my Bose system with no problems. Of course, the quality is not equal but it sounds great for the cost. You can also control this unit with your smartphone...which is kind of neat too. Best Buy had the best price after checking around.

Sounds great, the 4K is working. it's definitely worth it.

Works just as advertised. Good sound. Set up could be a little simpler but I'm 63 and was able to work through it so no OK boomer please. Would be better if you could program the output mode but that only works if your input is direct into the receiver rather than from the optical TV output. Otherwise you have to reset it each time.

I bought a Sony STRDH770 in January 2018, and it was my first 4k receiver. The only reason I decided to buy the Yamaha was because I needed a second receiver to go in my basement. I never thought there would be a difference in picture quality, but I was so wrong. I don't think the sony was displaying true 4k, because there was a vast difference in picture quality when I hooked up the yamaha.

Bought this to replace my older Yamaha, which was knocked out during a lightning strike. It was the same model just older. I like the ability to connect and stream over Wi-Fi from phone, computer, tablet.. It's also very easy to set up.

Easy setup and good sound. Yamaha makes a great product.

The way this thing handles all our speakers is just incredible. Does everything we need it to do plus more. Set up was not hard - these things always take a bit of time. And the price was reasonable, considering the quality of the item.

This has to be the best purchased reciever I ever bought and for the cost its amazing. I am running now definitive technology towers plus a sc4000 powered subwoofer and it sounds amazing. Music and home theater sounds so good you won't believe it.

I wanted to replace my old Yamaha receiver from 10 years ago. Very happy with the new Yamaha 5.1 receiver. It has several HDMI inputs and Bluetooth. Only issue is the remote didn’t work, but called and Yamaha will replace it.

I have had good luck with Yamaha receivers and this one does not disappoint. Set up with a Harmony One remote so easy to automate different entertainment types and even to configure to work with my Dad's hearing aide.

First of all, our salesperson was great and gave in depth information about the receivers and make us choose the best one for our needs. This is the second one I bought from same brand and it is definitely the right product for the right price

Excellent receiver for money, great features & power. The bi-amplify feature is nice if you have large front towers with & Plan to get the wireless Yamaha speakers as surrounds.

All the bells and whistles a true audiohead could ask for...But the manual? IT SUCKS! DOWNLOAD THE APP ASAP! And you will know you made the right choice instead of wonder...

Perfect match for my new 4K Qled TV. Even turns the sound way down when its off so when you turn it on in the AM it doesn't wake everyone up! That is so cool! Great picture

We sit 20ft away from the screen and the Yamaha recievers dynamics grab you, shake the room, and the surround makes it so realistic. Music is clear and full. After about a month, I could not be more happy.
