WOW , WOW !!!! After 25 + yrs of having our Pioneere reciever we decided to get a new one. After a lot of comparing we went with the Yamaha A/V. We absolutley love this thing. Loud , crisp , clean sound.

Thief’s is my second Yamaha receivers and I have been pleased with The Yamaha brand since I bought my first one twenty years ago. I like the Bluetooth feature that makes playing music from my iPhone and iPad so easy.

This has all the 4K HDMI passthrough capability I needed and it also came with a couple microphone to hook up and have the amp listen to the sound I. Your room and custom balance it to fit your space. Really cool.

In my opinion Yamaha makes the best receivers I purchased receiver as a part of my home theater it was really great the sound is amazing I would definitely recommend this receiver to anyone looking to build a home theater system

Good middle of road receiver with built in Bluetooth that allows you to transmit your music from mobile device to receiver while sitting in your easy chair!

This was a great unit at a great price. It supports Dolby Digital Plus which most streaming apps seem to use. After using it for a couple weeks, I have no complaints. Thanks Best Buy!

I bought this receiver strictly to run two zones per receiver. No video, no surround. Why buy the dedicated musiccast mini amplifier for more $, and only one zone? I chose this over a slightly lower series, with musiccast, because this has two musiccast zones with independent power and volume control. I use my high end Yamaha system for main towers and theater system (Bowers 700 series). I then use multiple of these units to cover deck and patio outdoor zones, the garage, and the master bedroom. The great thing is I don't have to run a ton of speaker wires to achieve this! No hard-wire connection to reach the upstairs. I can control each zone with Alexa and the iPhone app... Volume, power, source, etc.

Easily integrates well with Alexa and also Yamaha Music Cast. Still learning how to best use all of the features. I most frequently use it with Alexa's play everywhere feature in a group. I was originally disappointed because there isn't much tonal control beyond bass and treble however there are a number of settings that mimic everything from theater to music halls which fills the gap nicely.

I replaced an older Yamaha receiver with this one. The older one was great but did not have hdmi. This one has ample hdmi plug ins. The setup was super easy. Perfect for my 5.1 family room sound system setup.

Had another brand, but the HDMI audio switch just never worked properly. This works exactly like it should and sounds great, even with my really old speakers.

When installing my new tv Geek Squad informed me that my old receiver would not be up to the task. With the personal recommendation from the G. S. Installer we bought this one. So far it works great.

Bought this receiver to replace an aging Sony. This receiver has all the same features and easy controls I've come to expect. I've never had an HDMI switching receiver before and I find that handy.

Bought this Receiver to use with my new TV and Blu-Ray player. It was very easy to setup, and it's easy to use. I use this every day, and I'm very happy with this purchase.

The Yamaha A/about receiver was easy to set up and easy to use. The sound is great and the product is well built. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a basic-mid range A/V receiver

This is awesome with my smart tv it automatically switches inputs as well as turns itself off with the tv. super smart receiver and it pushes some air out of my speakers!

Setup involves downloading a quasi-app. The owner's manual is also a download, but trying to search for a particular topic is frustrating. I never figured out how to get bluetooth or WiFi working. But it pretty much does what I ask, plays great sound from the TV and radio.

I purchased this Home Theater receiver because my other one quit working.Its just like my previous one so I knew how to set it up.Like always stay with Yamaha Home Theater.

This is the best home theatre system I have had yet. I have had high end systems in the past and none of them have ever been as great as this one. I have a full B&K speaker system with a custom made 16" woofer with an internal amp and my Yamaha does a great job. Once setting up the speaker system the Yamaha includes a listening device that will sync your speakers automatically. They sound better than ever. The listener device listens to the pre programmed sound that goes from speaker to speaker to set the correct setting for each speaker. WOW!!! The surround sound is better then ever. It's better than being at the theater.

Had to replace our Harman Kardon, our 2nd one in 15 years, decided to give Yamaha a try. Easy setup with our remote. Great sound works well with our wired sound bar.

For a 5 channel amp/receiver, this Yamaha is great! I've always gone with Yamaha and this time was no exception. Great functions. Plenty of ports. Bluetooth works exceptionally. And great price!
