This was a great system! I've actually had to upgrade due to a technician error but I thoroughly enjoyed this while I had it.

Replaced our old receiver with this new one for an outdoor stereo sound. Not yet hooked up to the tv but radio sounds great. Will use the wireless speakers this summer when the pool goes in.

Bought a much needed receiver after my Sony of 15 years finally called it quits. Hooked up everything as instructed by the instructions. Talk about a game changer!! You will love this!

Bought this for a 5.1 application and love it. More than enough power and it has more than enough HDMI ports. App works fine for me and I can control unit from anywhere in my house.

Excellent overall, BUT a few shortcomings. The documentation: it comes with a very limited setup brochure. You can find the operating manual online. It does not have a turntable input. It does not have switched outlets in which you could plug your TV so that you could switch on and off both with one remote. All this is clearly visible in the description pictures. It is just, things I had on my old RX- V661 and that I had found very convenient...

Got help from the guy in the store to help me pick a great piece of equipment that combines all my components and makes them easier to access. Easy to connect. Even for me!

My old Yamaha receiver no longer had sound! This is the new version of what I had, so no real learning curve...more usb ports, clearer sound, easier remote...totally happy.

Very satisfied so far, great sound and cool to finally be able to get anything I Chromecast to output to the receiver. Looking forward to using the wireless rears in the near future

I would by this again I love the blue tooth feature.... I have not hitched it up to my TV yet due to fact I am moving soon and will set it up proper in the new place

We installed this to switch between the Blu Ray, the DVD player and the gaming system while using one HDMI cable to the tv. Works as advertised.

We got this receiver simply to connect speakers to provide surround sound in our living room. This one in particular is user friendly and works great for what we need.

Well done, Yamaha! Bought this to replace my 13 year old version. Works really well and I love the bluetooth being built in, along with the app you can use to control many of the settings.

I connect all the speakers around my house and it works great. It has Bluetooth so you can connect your phone and play music

Receiver is great. Easy to use once conne Ted and set up. Setup was a challenge because I have tv, turntable, CD player, and DVD player connected.

It is a great receiver. Even though it don't have the some of the surround sound as the more expensive Yamaha receiver's have. Sounds great

It's a great receiver, bought it because of the 4k upscale for 1080p signals, but the audio quality is great :) Recommended.

Like quality, but having a problem with fire tv cubes Alexa turning on cable box and surround sound. Just getting used to new equipment, I guess.
