Very good system, but for some reason sometimes the audio would drop for a second. Called yamaha receiver assistance and after 1hour waiting they said it could be the hdmi (arc) cable. I purchased another Hdmi 2.1 and the problem still happened. I replaced the unit before and the audio keeps dropping still. It has to be something with eARC and the ARC unit not conversing right. Had to return it because of that. Overall it is a great sound for the price.

I had another system that was new( 3 mnths) but worked perfect/then not no reason--Replaced it with this system and extremely satisfied with the Yamaha quality-- Iam professional musician with other yamaha pro equipment--so for the price category--(like other pros reviews= same thing--) until u are ready to spend thousands of dollars and remodel rooms or sound adjust them- this is a great system-plus I received it almost a week early in shipping.

All in all not bad system. Sound is average or little better. Would given a 5 except speaker connectIon is a pain in the butt to connect to the amp. Why not use a better way. They could of displayed on screen functions. Not just show on the units display panel. I can see those who don’t like the bass. If what they are looking for is something that shakes the house to the ground. Good for me. It’s enough to rock the floor. Not a bad budget system for the price.

Good sound system needs more wire for bigger areas but overall easy to install and sounds great love the bass

There's really nothing to say you get what you pay for and this system isn't actually bad speakers are good there's even an option for different surround sound modes. There's one thing you should kno though since it wasn't really clear about is that the wire is not pre-installed which means it comes with wire but you have to cut your own size and twist them together I didn't know that and was afraid I'd mess up but it was pretty simple. I recommend to anyone.

This surround sound definitely does the trick for the price. It’s easy to set up and sound amazing.
