    Sub woofer is not adequate for loud rock and metal music. Unresponsive to double bass. Otherwise fantastic stereo and normal and higher volumes.

    Pretty good overall but the price is a bit much and I just hate that I had to strip the wires myself over all pretty good surround sound!

    Great system for the price! Speakers replicate realistic sound including the woofer. Surround effect is spatial and natural but other sound effects i.e. "concert hall" etc. are not realistic and over-done. It's hard to find a mid-priced system that offers performance and great sound quality that exceeds this Yamaha offering.
