I love that theater system they have quality and sound

This is amazing home sounds, I recommend this product.

It works great until today when I hooked my phone and iPad up and would not power and recognize the port used new cable

This product was a couple of days late. I understand the services will be behind scheduled date. Couple days not bad. But not good.

So sad I had to return this just because he wanted a sound bar. I absolutely do not like the sound bar so half the time it's unplugged.

When Best Buy crew came out to hook up the surround sound they had to go put our projector in the hdmi on our xbox and then to the receiver instead of being able to go to the receiver first so that we could utilize the 4 hdmi ports on the receiver. The connections were loose so they just hooked it up through the xbox. Have tried contacting customer support to get a different receiver brought out but no response.

Configuration set up is very confusing. As all the other reviews state, the output from these small speakers are weak and the sub woofer barely provides enough bass. I went through all the settings and cannot get the full 5 channels to work. I'm only getting the left/right/sub woofer channels. The provided wires are horrendous to use and not even enough. Yamaha customer service is a straight joke. They ask maybe two to three questions before writing it off as a defective unit. I'll never purchase a Yamaha home theater system again. Total waste of money. Better off investing to get a Bose System than this cheap mess.

Not good sound .............. not recommended for this item

The sound system is too hard to set up! The cutting and removing the wire, not for me, also the manual can be better.

I purchased this for the office and found that the speakers on this unit are much smaller than is represented in the image, which has clearly been edited to misrepresent them. Pretty sleazy sales tactic Best Buy. The sound is o.k., but only after I replaced all of the speakers included with the system. I recommend actually seeing and listening to what you're getting before purchasing.

Had this surround sound system a little over a year. It's blown 3 speakers with the volume never higher than 80% of max. Contacted Yamaha twice and all they did was send me a replacement speaker, I have to contact them for the other two but it doesn't fix the problem. The receiver does not seem to be filtering sound correctly, the front speakers are picking up bass and it sounds horrible, the sub is picking up higher tones. At this mid-range price it shouldn't have these issues. I've had better cheaper setups.

The Receiver is great, but the speakers were not that good. But it's a great starter audio system.

the receiver seems nice but no Sonos or internet the speakers are average at best in terms of quality

I got this for my husband as a Christmas gift. It was bought open box so not all the components were included in the box. So we had to make additional purchases in order for the system to work. We ended up returning the whole thing. So lesson learned on purchasing open box. May not include all pieces.

Didnt come with a remote control. Hard to connect to tv

Volume is good but the subwoofer is not to good when volume is high..

The kid that brought my surround sound out to my vehicle he put it in the bed of my truck. Instead of lowering the tailgate, he reaches over the tailgate and drops the whole unit 6” or 8” into the bed of the truck. Thud! It works though for now anyways.
