Great sound but with a problem.

Called yamaha receiver assistance and after 1hour waiting they said it could be the hdmi (arc) cable. I purchased another Hdmi 2.1 and the problem still happened. I replaced the unit before and the audio keeps dropping still. It has to be something with eARC and the ARC unit not conversing right. Had to return it because of that. Overall it is a great sound for the price.

Subwoofer is a little weak, the other speakers arent even necessarily surround sound because they can go in any placement, meaning they have no distinction between the "surround speakers" or the "front speakers". They are all the same. Very lightweight speakers also, might I add.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had another system that was new( 3 mnths) but worked perfect/then not no reason--Replaced it with this system and extremely satisfied with the Yamaha quality-- Iam professional musician with other yamaha pro equipment--so for the price category--(like other pros reviews= same thing--) until u are ready to spend thousands of dollars and remodel rooms or sound adjust them- this is a great system-plus I received it almost a week early in shipping.

Would given a 5 except speaker connectIon is a pain in the butt to connect to the amp. Why not use a better way. They could of displayed on screen functions. Not just show on the units display panel. I can see those who don’t like the bass. If what they are looking for is something that shakes the house to the ground. Good for me. It’s enough to rock the floor. Not a bad budget system for the price.
