There's really nothing to say you get what you pay for and this system isn't actually bad speakers are good there's even an option for different surround sound modes. There's one thing you should kno though since it wasn't really clear about is that the wire is not pre-installed which means it comes with wire but you have to cut your own size and twist them together I didn't know that and was afraid I'd mess up but it was pretty simple. I recommend to anyone.

Super stoked on this system. Our house came with built in surround sound in the ceiling but no receiver. Hooked this up and used the auto adjusting thing for our seating positions, it automatically calibrated and sounds perfect. We have an 82" q6f so the speaker in the tv compared to the receiver are terrible. Our living room is complete now.

Seems to be great for my older parents (when their universal harmony remote was programmed) and they really like the sound. My only real complaint was having to drive 80 miles past literally 5 or 6 stores to get my hands on it on the day I needed it, having travelled from out of state to put together a new entertainment system for them...Don't tell me its in stock then notify me after purchase that it isn't, in fact, in stock.

So far this stereo has met my expectations. Yamaha is known for their quality speaker and stereo assemblies, and this is no exception. The only drawback would be the lack of speaker stands. At least 4 of them would be ideal, and I know since I bought 4 aftermarket stands for the front and surround speakers and it makes a world of difference here. A+ stereo for the dollar amount.

If your looking to have a movie theater experience without breaking the bank this system is it. It took me a a bit to set it up only because I had to determine speaker wire length. But once it was all hooked up and ready to go it was awesome. Sound is perfect. Couldn't have picked a better system for such a good price

I am loving the Yamaha-725W 4K Ultra HD 5.1 Channel Home Theater System. This is the perfect small system for any bedroom set-up. It has great sound, for a complete Home theater System price at $500. Very, familiar with Yamaha products since the early 1980"s. And purchase a Yamaha Stereo Receiver. This product selling at Best Buy makes a great addition to your business.
