Didn't care gor it at first but then i switched hdmi ports into eArc and it seemed to do so much better. Really like it now.

The instalation was super easy and were very happy the way it sounds even if we didn't want to distribute the speakers. Can't wait to finish our basement and move it there! High quality of sound, as any other Yamaha product.

I like the brand. I have a positive history with it. The receiver easily integrated with the smart tv. The only hang up is the wiring for the speakers was not prepared for installation and the wire was a low guage.

First home theater system, i would say not to bad. Maybe better surround speaker would make it better. Either that or my room is too big. Good for a starter pack in surround.

I am so happy to have brought this item twice within a year, and I plan on buying another one in March. The price is well set at what it is and I thank best buys for you in the store customer service in Columbus, Ga.

this system is fantastic.. the best part is the "voice volume" and the enhancer with usb music.. very lucky to get it on sale..

Best system for the money. This is the second one I’ve bought. I sold my home with the Yamaha system built into old home. Liked it so much I put the same into my new home.

This is a great starting point but the speakers are underwhelming. I recommend at least adding bookshelf speakers for the front right and left if you plan on listening to music or are seeking a truly immersive experience.

The only complaint I have is when using Bluetooth. Starts cutting out after awhile so I have to turn off the receiver for a bit and turn it back on. Over and over and over again. Everything else is great

bought a sound bar before but didn't get the bass and all I wanted so I got this and I can play everything through it.. radio, DVD, cable box everything.. just think it's a bit too expensive

The system is good. The only knock would be that the Bluetooth setting overrides the other settings. The system will turn itself on if in an area that is getting a bluetooth signal.

Yamaha never disappoints. I would rate 5 out of 5 stars . Specially Yamaha with Epson home cinema 3200 combined. Awesome performance.. Mind-blowing. It would be perfect combination for home theater system.Go for it.

This receiver has been great so far, a little cheap on the quality of speakers for this price.

Yamaha YHT-4950U very nice looking and sounding system. The (4) surround speaker are very small, but still sound OK. I had to call Yamaha for help connecting system to TV for sound and vision.

Nice system for the money, hooking it up correctly was an issue. My advice is look up your tv on www, hook it up as they suggest. I’m no techno wiz, but got it done.

I did not realize how much audio I was missing before purchasing this surround sound system. It has made watching movies and playing video games way more in depth and enjoyable!

Great Surround Sound System. You can't bet the cost either for the product you get. Easy to set up and install. Got it in the afternoon and we where listening to it within an hour.
