A major issue when connecting to an auxiliary, the audio drops in and out every few seconds. Known issue, posted on many forums. Search Reddit. For example, my Xbox is connected to HDMI 2. Whenever I played, the audio issue happened. Works fine on the main audio channel, so that was for my TV- no issues. There is no known fix. Other than that, the receiver is decent. I got it on clearance for only $220. That's a tough price to resist. Speakers are flat and hollow sounding but if you need a basic sounding system, it's worth it. The sub is weak too.

Everything is good was missing the antenna though. It was an open box item

Installation took half day If you dont like wires this is the worse on wires System application somewhat friendly Sound is average Buttom right speaker started to have some static (after 45 days) (i just pulled it out the wires) it ruins all the sound with all the static coming out from it

Bought it thinking, hell yeah 725 watts should be good.. well its probably that at the peak of everything. Subwoofer is only like 50 watts and I dont think that's 50 watts RMS. Music being played through it sounds so muddy and jumbled. The subwoofer can't keep up with the beats and just sounds like crap. Took it back, bought klipsch speakers and their 400 watt, think 200 watt RMS subwoofer and a different av receiver. Music is FN awesome and the movies are even better. Am taking the Sony 1125 watt av receiver back though. It has a hard time connecting with my Samsung phone via bluetooth. I gave this unit 2 stars because it did connect easily when asked to by bluetooth.

Receiver is solid 5 stars but I'm not sold on the speakers. My nearly 15-year old Panasonic speakers from a similar 5.1 theater set drive better than these little guys. Good for an everyday user though I guess. I do like the sub's quality and response but it's a little underpowered as well.

Good unit, but does not pickup all of the local stations in the area.

It worked great for a few months then started blinking when powering it on. I assumed it was a crossed speaker wire but it still does it with nothing connected. The warranty says I have to mail it in to be looked at and I'm questioning if it's worth the cost.

Good receiver , you’ll need to upgrade the speakers though

Very disappointed that I used this system twice and it hasn't been on since. I have the warranty but I have to drive over an hour away from my home just to get the stereo repaired. They have to keep the stereo for 2 weeks and then I have to drive back to pick it up.

First jump into sound systems! Easy setup easy use

Bluetooth was the only connection working. Sound was okay. Used arc rca digital usb fm and am channels but it wont make any sound. Had to return it.

Don’t really like how to watch movies or Netflix we have to put the receiver in a different input. Don’t like Yamaha customer hot line. It Takes 10 minutes and 50 questions just to talk to a person. I like the color and how light weight speaks are. It’s a good starter set.
