bad sound is 750whatts but sound like 250 I never recomend this product to a friend is $500 product is easy to use and install now i need to return and get something better

Speakers lack miss, sub is under whelming. Especially compared to the same model 14 years older I had previously. Actually put the old sub back on with the new stereo, and have plans to upgrade the front speakers already. I do like the receiver and it’s controls though.

Overall the power is there but not lacks quality. I honestly wosh I went with something else no matter what you do when turned up loud sound is muddy and not clear. Okay for movies horrible for music. Yamaha costumer service is absolute trash!

It's OK sounding good base NOT 120hz like I was told.

Same day it was set up one of the speakers didn’t work. By the end of the third week only one out of five speakers worked. Tried to get from Yamaha but was on hold for over an hour and had to hang up. Don’t know if I was just unlucky but no more Yamaha for me. I had a Sony before this and it lasted me almost ten years. I exchanged this for the Sony the third week.

The speakers are smaller than the picture and you need special cables and another things too complicated for a regular customer to connect at your tv, I don’t recommend this product if you don’t now about a complicated connections.

Well I bought this system in a box thinking it would be good enough and have good sound quality, I was wrong it was fine I guess better than tv speakers but no mid range lows were ok and highs sucked even with the optimization stuff it had with it.

Speakers are light and cheaply made. Wire is trash. Shuts off whenever I crank it up. Says 400+ watts but my JBL Bluetooth speaker is louder. Wish I paid the extra money for a better system

After 6 months of use, will not start up. When it did work, sound was great

System is not worth the money. Music would skip whether I was using the Bluetooth, a.m. reciever, or watching a movie. Geek squad didn't help me. Yamaha support tried to help, but it didn't work.

When I got this I was excited, being $500 I expected an amazing sound. Took me about 30 mins to set it up. At first it sounded decent but the higher you put it the more you hear the distortion. Bass has a knob and it must be turned down almost all the way or you will hear a raspy bass which makes it sound like crap. I end up returning this and went with a soundbar Polk Signa S2. My soundbar was $140 and it sounds much much better then this one! I definitely suggest NOT to get this. You are welcome I just saved your time, money and effort.

I attempted to purchase a sound system for my 60 inch TV but each one I purchased was not compatable to my TV. I explained to your sales people how old my set was but it did NOT help. Errors would come up HDCP2.2 which my set was not compatable to the sound system as I found out , with NO one answering your phones initially , this ordeal became so fustrating that I'm not even buying a sound system or additional speakers . The lack of help and information was terrible . I wasted days and the aggravation from this experience was more than displeasing!!!

Great buy for the price point .... only ding is that speakers should have come with wall mounts

Garbage. Pure. Garbage. The sound is horrible. The speakers rattle at highs and underwhelming at lows. This is definitely not worth the $479.99 that I paid for it now I have to lig this 500lb mess back to best buy to return it. Another example of an overpriced, cheaply made product. Don't waist your time leave this thing on the shelf!!

Can not right a creditable review due to returning this. The product was sold open box with the speaker wire.

Not satisfied with the sound quality, the front speaker did not work and wires are poor quality.

1 month and it's already damaged, a guarantee is paid for nothing, you must take it to technical service and take 4 more weeks
