We had a sound system put in when we built 8 years ago. It never worked properly. Now all 15 speakers work with the ability to create zones in different rooms. So happy

Great product, did find it a bit confusing with the channel control in the front, the back ports allowed for universal installation, and the USB was complicated to use, apparantly it doesn't work with an android phone.

bought this opened item at a great discount. Now I know why it was returned. Picture output is broken. Thank god I bought BestBuys warranty. Its getting fixed, I hope. I think it will be a great product once its fixed.

The price was great and the installation was easy. The speakers were already up when we bought our house so that part was done. We just needed the reciever. It was easy to hook the speakers up and get it working.

Bought this to replace an older system. Easy to set up, great sound, I don't have a 4k tv, but I lIke that it future proofed.

The environment was a dental office. Client wanted a speaker in each room and in the waiting room. This was the perfect device for this application! Wish the USB had better function than for just Apple products.

This product is a great value. We do have one concern as the settings seems to revert to the default when we turn it off so we have to set our input again.

If your set in your current devices and speakers this receiver performs as it is described. If you think you may be upgrading or expanding your home audio/visual in the near future you may be underwhelmed

This is the second one of these amps I've bought for my home. Yamaha is my brand of choice for AV amps, and the new "HDMI hub" style amps make viewing of multiple devices a cinch. The sound is clear, the User Interface is easy to understand, and the unit is RELIABLE. You cannot do better for the money. Period.

Great sound and features. Awesome value for the bucks. More than enough to be able to crank 150 watt speakers.

This is a great entry level home theater receiver. Easy to set up and has multiple HDMI connections.

I love the fact it was easy to setup and it brought out the great sound I need in my living area.

Im enjoying my new reciever, and would have probably given it 5 stars except for one thing, somtimes it has to be restarted to power the speakers....in other words, you turn on your tv, and you hear sound. Then you realize your hearing your tv speakers and not the system. If you then shut off the reciever and power it back on, it then sends signal to surround speakers. Not sure why, and not sure how to fix

I bought this receiver because my old pioneer sx2300 crapped out on me. I had it since 1993...LOL. Anyway this new Sony sounds great with my Polk Tower speakers. I like that it had a remote control...never had one before for a stereo..Cool! It looks nice and fairly easy to figure out and it was on sale!!!! I always buy things on sale!!! If you need a new receiver but cant afford a high end one...This one is Fantastic!

This is a very nice receiver. I like that it turns itself down when it turns off, so that it doesn't come on blaring loud.

Great product for the price.I use it outdoors with the pool and it has great surround sound.

We were able to use our existing home theatre speakers with our new TV by only spending under $200 on this receiver .

The amp sounds great. Setup is very straight forward. Very satisfied with the amp.

In order to set it up, I had to use the disk with the instructions. My computer is not next to my TV so I either had to run back and forth to set up OR I had to print out the instructions; which I did. A cheap way for Yamaha to avoid sending printed manuals Also it appears this item recently was upgraded to a newer Model. If I had know that before hand I would have bought the newer model..
