I received excellent advice and information from the gentleman that helped me. He has right. This device has met all my needs and more at a great price.

In store associate directed me to this receiver as a mid price ranged receiver after asking me questions about size of my room and TV and speaker layout, could have tried to sell me higher priced product, but after showing me those, recommended the Yamaha for my needs and I could not be happier with the product and the service I experienced at my local (Valley Stream) Best Buy store.

Yamaha RX-V377BL is a great receiver. It was exactly what we were looking for and met our audio needs.

I had an older receiver that was about 15 years old. Having this one with the HDMI with the audio following and being able to redirect the audio source is AWESOME!!! I wish there was a few more optical and audio inputs but it seems more and more receivers are doing just the one and more coaxial

Bought this receiver to go with my new Bose surround sound system. Everything works very well and was able to hook everything to it very easily.

It was easy to install and operate. It is a great value for the money.

Our son suggested we change our receiver since we've upgraded our television. His idea was a good one. We're very happy with our new setup.

No instruction manual, disc only that I couldn't use. Went on line and very happy with product

Good product at a reasonable price. We found it easy to use and just right for our needs. Highly recommended. Don't waste your money on the more expensive units. Most of the value is in this unit.

Purchased this receiver to use with a pair of Bose 901 series III speakers and have been extremely happy with sound output and quality. The 3-D/4K hdmi pass through feature made the clutter of hdmi cables from all of my other devices (ie cable box, PC, and game consoles) to back of my TV disappear as they can now be hidden inside my entertainment unit.

Excellent value for the price. Works great. Has a full compliment of audio/video ports for all setups. Definitely recommend this.

This is a nice receiver for the money. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles or power of a high end receiver, but will function just fine for the average home theatre. It has plenty of inputs and the controls and menus are straight forward. I would recommend this reciever for anyone just getting into home theatre or for those on a budget

When changing TV channels, the sound is sometimes dropped for several seconds. I also cannot get Apple TVs sound to play through the speakers connected to the receiver. It's sound can only play through the TVs speakers. It could well be user error but I have yet to resolve it. Until those issues are resolved, I cannot recommend this receiver to a friend. If they can be resolved, I would be willing to recommend it.

Bought this receiver to replace a 2 year old Onkyo which failed at exactly the expiration of the warranty ... Extremely pleased with this mid-level receiver, high quality for the price!

I don't have any complaints, it does what I bought it for keeping the mood for my ladies!

3rd Yamaha AV receiver and so far so it's been great

Using it at a multimedia room at work. Needed a unit that could handle multiple inputs and easily operated by volunteers

AV video does not work for common devices like Comcast TV boxes or DSLR camera AV out, etc. I exchanged the receiver to see if its a defect but second receiver also works the same way. But when i connect those devices to TV's AV input directly it works fine. I took advice about this problem with Bestbuy but they could not give a solution. For the Comcast TV box not working with AV inputs the solution they gave me was to change the Comcast TV box to a HDMI enabled TV Box which has an extra cost to your monthly bill. Devices connect to HDMI ports work without any problem.
