Purchased this Yamaha to replace an old Yamaha receiver which would shut down due to overheating. Well guess what same old story even with newer technology. Overheats and shuts down. B&W speakers will handle anything, but Yamaha cant.

I bought this receiver to act as switch for all my electronics. Main reason was my tv didn't output dobly digital from the optical, it's five years old. This receiver had all the inputs I need and had so far worked great. No complaints

It was easy to hook-up. The FM radio works well, but I can't get get any AM stations. I couldn't get AM with my old receiver either. I think the problem is my location.

Bought this to power surround sound speakers for a new tv for our office conference room. It works great. I had to read the manual to figure out how to operate it so it was a little hard to use but works like a charm.

I have owned more than 5 Yamaha receivers over the years. I hope they are available for the next 30 years. I have never been disappointed in any of the Yamaha receivers I have owned. Great appliance buy this one!

This Receiver has the perfect ratio of cost benefit. If you are replacing an old receiver for a basic setup look no further.

Receiver is great for managing all the inputs to my samsung TV. Also makes a clicking sound to indicate it is on or off. Which is good as it is not visible.

Enjoying the sound quality, if I need to play it at night I still keep a great sound without bugging my neighbors .

Great amp and tuner for my system. We just moved into a new house and the equipment is perfect.

It does not have enough in and out connections to do what I wanted it to do, only one pair of speakers possible. limited types of devices can connect.

Great value product- wish it was easier to mix sound from one input and picture from another though.

I needed to replace my Harmon Kardon receiver and was able to find this unit that was recommended by a friend. It works very well.

The product was purchased as a return and did not work when I got it home. I had to return product as soon as I purchased it.
