Bought this to replace a 30 year old receiver and wish I would have done it sooner. Hooked it up to my tv and the sound is amazing. Nice bonus of bluetooth as well.

Powers 5 speakers and the sub. Perfect for my Klipsch surround set. Blue Tooth feature allows you to play music from phone. Very easy to set up. On sale $249 - great buy!!

Did lot of research before going for this item. This has all the basic stuff that's needed. Includes Bluetooth and 4K. If you don't want to spend lot of money on a receiver and want a quality one, go for this one.

My mother-in-law wanted to be able to hear all her PBS shows in stereo, but I did her one better by hooking up surround sound with this puppy. Pretty nice, considering it has enough inputs for all her components and makes plenty of pleasing noise to make her feel just like she was sitting in the drawing room at Downton Abbey.

I like having the ability to connect all of my AV equipment into one centralized location. Having multiple HDMI connections is helpful and made setting up so much easier.

It was just what i needed for my living room, and it worked well.So far, it has been reliable, while used every day.It is not top of the line peice of equipment, but as a budget receiver it is very good.

I bought my first Home Theater system when a Best Buy opened in city within a reasonable driving distance. This was 1995. I didn't know much if anything about them but I wanted something nice but not over the top since I lived in an apartment. I bought an entire Yamaha system. My TV blew up a couple of years ago and at the time I was so involved with my band and hardly home I just bundled up the HT system and put it in the closet. Well I finally decided I wanted a big screen TV which I bought, I hooked up my Yamaha system and the receiver just clicked then then nothing. I opened the chassis and poked around but couldn't find anything obvious. It was old so figured it would cost more to fix than buying a new one since prices have come down over the years. I was perusing receivers and noticed this on the open box table. It had the full warranty plus the Best Buy warranty for 90 days and it was almost half price from a new one so I took a chance. This model actually has quite a bit of features my previous one didn't have, obviously since we're talking 20 years difference. I can't find anything bad to say about it. I loved the old so why not. Yamaha is a quality company I have a lot of their electronic equipment including guitars, basses and amps. For the price [even at full price new] this is a great surround sound system. I now live in a big house and I've never turned it up more that about 1/3 and it shakes the walls.

I am generally pleased with this receiver. My only negative is that you will have to purchase a stereo pre amp if you are planning to use a turntable.

This sounds great with my Boston Acoustics A70's. Love it. The Blutooth works nicely.

Sounds great and has lots of sound modes. The Bluetooth works great too. You can just come home and play music from your phone through your home system easily. All in all, a good buy, I'm happy with it..
