Just decided to get a receiver since i found a set of Harman Kardon speakers on sale and this fit my needs and my budget! nice that it also has bluetooth so i can listen to my music via my phone/tablet as well. So far everything has been working nicely!

Haven’t been able to fully integrate with Netflix. Otherwise works great

This isa goo entry level receiver to start your audio listening with. The quick and easy setup was a plus. My only trouble is when connecting everything with HDMI I am unable to watch TV video I only get TV audio, I am still trying to figure this one out.

Have this hooked up to my klipsch quintet speakers and Polk sub. It does a good job but has a couple glitches where sometimes I have to cycle the power on/off to get the sound to go through the speakers. A minor annoyance but otherwise I am very happy

I was looking to replace a older Onkyo 7.1 receiver. The HDMI ports on that model would short out (common problem back in 2007-2008). LOL, I was tired of having to solder new capacitors every 12 months to keep it working. This model has all you need today, 4 HDMI ports all 4k ready with HDCP 2.2 support for the latest Ultra Hi-definition video pass-through and all the latest audio formats found in Blu-ray or online streaming movies (ex: Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master HD). Everything is supported short of Dolby Atmos which requires special speaker designs. I like the easy access to the DSP sound environment enhancements, Bluetooth support, and easy to use menu system. A+ in my book!

This is my first Yamaha receiver and I have to say I am impressed, it's very sleek looking and much louder than my onkyo the died on me recently. The Yamaha works perfect with my Bose surround sound and honestly for the price I can not ask for more!

I got this receiver because I saw other good reviews about it, and I've never had a problem with Yamaha in the past. I am not disappointed by it at all. It has bluetooth capabilities, and a lot of customization.

Bought this receiver just looking for a solid replacement for my surround system after the other became unreliable. This seemed to be the best value, and I was pleasantly surprised how easily the Bluetooth paired. Very happy with the purchase.

I have not had any problems with this device, it passes the 4K content through as advertised, although I had to change setting for my PS4 Pro to pass through at the highest resolution. I also have my 4K chromecast and cable box passing through.

I bought this open box. Outside of no remote, it works like new!

My son indicated we needed this receiver after our other one went out. I guess these things last pretty well as I couldn't remember the last time we had purchased. So far so good. Easy set up. Only needed an additional HDMI cord.

For the most part everything about this receiver is nice except for a few programming things the Bluetooth feature works out well and I can change from different inputs fairly well with a few hiccups

Although you need a powered sub, this receiver delivers big time for the $$. With a little tinkerin', the sound quality is very good when the volume is low as well as when it's cranked up...

I love this receiver! The only drawback I have with this receiver is I wish I had purchased a 5.2 system so that I could have two subs. This thing will rock your neighborhood as it is though!

I was having issues with my original surround sound and getting it on all my media. This solved everything, because everything runs through it!

This is a great receiver for a first entry into home theater. I was able to get the system setup in under an hoer. Really appreciated the automatic equalization feature - it showed that I had reversed two speaker connections.

We have been very satisfied with the receiver. It's easy to use and connect the different devices we use. It also allows for us to only have one remote to work everything. Very satisfied!

Nice receiver has plenty of tuning options 5 channels has plenty of power to drive a nice stereo 2.1 set up. The only thing missing is the Yamaha app to control it from your cell or tablet. Great receiver. Buy it on sale.

This replaced an older version that the RF stopped working on. The new one with the HDMI inputs is awesome. The bluetooth is also a convenient feature. Yamaha makes great receivers.

I was down to this and 2 other receivers after reading reviews on multiple products. Purchased this in-store as a discounted open box item at a terrific price and it has been phenomenal. I love the different "programs" and the ease of switching inputs. This receiver turns on automatically for me when turning on the tv and turns off auto also. It also switches automatically to the correct input when switching my tv input and the direct tv controller controls the volume for the receiver...in other words unless I"m switching a "program" I never need/use the remote. Kicks off great sound, a great and necessary piece to my surrond sound.
