Bought a surround sound system and didn't realize i needed a receiver. Bought an open box version of this and it works great. The menus are straight forward. Does what i need.

Good quality sound for the money. However, be aware that the receiver measures 7 inches tall, and will not fit most entertainment centers. If I had to do it all again, I might've gotten one of the slimmer Denon models.

It work fine , the app to help install is very good. The sound and the programs work well. That ls all you need for a home theater.

My living room is around 275 sq ft. This Yamaha receiver is more than enough for me to fill the room with music. Initial set up is easy and the sound quality is very good.

Excellent Purchase...has everything desired including Bluetooth and 4K Pass-through. The sounds is excellent and has plenty of HDMI connections for all my peripherals.

I am thoroughly enjoying this amplifier. It replaces one I used for many years. I would definitely recommend this amplifier to none looking for a very good 5.1 system.

Purchased as a replacement of my older Yahama. Similar functionality, so conversion was easy. Likes the microphone used at setup to measure distance to speakers. Good value. Adequate number of HDMI inputs.

I think it sounds great. I went from a more expensive Onkyo that I never used half the features to this guy and it sounds just as good if not better. I even think better.

I purchased this receiver because I needed the ability to have the HDMI inputs and outputs that my old receiver does not have. This seems to do everything I need it to.

Purchased this receiver to add HDMI in/out for AppleTV and Xbox. It was an affordable choice and we are no enjoying great sound through all of our components.

The Yamaha drives my 5.1 system with ample power. The remote is easy to operate however it will not run the receiver through the glass on my entertainment center door. All other devices I have WILL operate their devices with their remote through the glass. BEWARE if you enclose your units in a cabinet with glass doors. Otherwise you'll have to have the door open to operate the receiver. It must be bluthooth not IFR therefore the 3 rating

My receiver died after many years of good service. I was thrilled to find a replacement that did everything I wanted which was in stock and reasonably priced.

This is my 3rd Yahama and it reminded me why I keep returning to Yahama. It's a good looking machine with simple menus and it produces quality sound.

Has been an excellent purchase for the money, has worked with my current speakers. Had to purchase a powered subwoofer as my current one was not powered.

a gentleman from another department helped me because other "team members" were busy talking about another customer. He seemed knowledgeable about the product and expl ained how it worked to me and which model would fit my needs. If it had " been for the help I did relieved I would no have made this purchase. By the way I am typing this to you on a Toshiba satellite computer that I purchased there around Jan can't stand it. I thought I could get used to a smaller keyboard but I can not. it takes me forever to type a simple sentence. Any suggestions on what I can do about this?

Great receiver for the money. Wanted Bluetooth, ARC and HDCP 2.2 and this had all three. Bought on sale for $199 and couldn't have been better spent.

This unit is excellent quality and more than capable for a home theatre. Options are basic but good. Not a lot of bells and whistles in this model though

i recently bought a house that came with built in speakers, i needed a a device to power the speakers, I didnt want to spend a lot of money and i didnt. Great value and works great.
